Tough game for us although we are playing better away from home than at the Madejski.Play as bad as we did on Tuesday then Ipswich will hammer us.

Got to win these ones, should manage it comfortably but not naive to think our slump in form is definitely behind us.

Nevertheless, come on boys. 2-0.

Fairly confident we can get something out of this game (even after the past two dismal home performances). We are set up and have been for years to be a better counter attacking team, which suits away games.

Our record under Clarke away from home is W4 D2 L1, and we were unlucky to lose to Fulham in that game.

Ipswich have a few injuries, especially up top which will put even more reliance on Daryl Murphy. Can't say I know a lot about him, didn't look the fastest of strikers when I saw him on TV the other week which is our main weakness.

Predicting 1-1 but could go either way.

I would be happy to come away with a point tomorrow and 3 Tuesday night.Decided not to pay £50 for the train up there especially with the line shut most of the way.Don't fancy getting a replacement bus from Billericay to Ipswich.Going on the supporters coach although that leaves at 09:15.

Yeah the trains are a pain! :( Surprised we took 4000 despite the disruption to fulham last weekend!

We really need to win this after dropping points elsewhere recently!

Can we play away every week?

W5 D2 L1 away record under Clarke now.

The suggestion was your pitch hardly helps or is that just an easy excuse?
Our pitch is poor and definitely doesn't help - I think Wigan's goal last week was sort of indirectly caused by the bad pitch. It was supposed to have been relayed in the Summer, but because of us nearly entering administration we couldn't afford to get it done so we're stuck with the same pitch that's past its best. It's not comparable to Bradford, Blackpool etc.

Simply our style suits counter attacking away football. 4-4-2 with the freedom of the wingers to run inside or out, solid sitting back defence with relatively holding midfielders. We've been playing a similar system for years. The problem at home is that teams sit back and we don't have enough attacking creativity to break teams down, hence why we've failed to score in something like 5 of our last 7 games.

Won at Middlesbrough, Derby, Norwich, Ipswich and Wolves this season, doubt many Championship teams will manage that.

Good performance today especially in the second half.Ipswich had plenty of the ball but no real cutting edge especially in the second half.Never felt they were going to score. A bit more composure and we could have had another, or even two, although that would have been flattering to us.Hector was man of the match. Also though Jay Tabb played well for Ipswich but may be a bit biased with that.

Shame we can't play all our games away from home.As Madejski says above at home we struggle against sides that sit back and hit on the break.
