Let's concentrate solely on what Johnson has spent, and completely ignore who he's had to sell. The typical fan selectively using stats to help their argument. Not to mention injuries he's had to deal with particularly last year by the way.

As for flint, I feel a lot less nervous without him as part of our back 4, but at the same time alot less confident from scoring from set pieces without him there. Completely ignoring goals conceded from last year and this, I still think Webster's the better defender.

Because the injuries had nowt to do with Johnson at all...

Johnson’s had to sell but he’s also signed a hell of a lot of shite, the fact is we could attract a manager who could do a better job. If I’m not mistaken you were in fact entertaining the idea of Johnson leaving, one fortunate victory later and you’re back defending him to the hilt. At least have an opinion and stick to it.

You think it’s a coincidence we had all those injuries playing a high pressing game? Leeds have had exactly the same this year, Brentford have had the same for years, it often happens, the players burnt out and we had no plan B.

I’ve not had a chance to look yet, I shall do when I finish work and if it wasn’t your post then I’ll stand corrected, bit tetchy today aren’t you Jon...

4? Fuck right off are you having a laugh...

Off the top of my head — Blackburn, Wigan, Bolton, Millwall, Sheffield United, Leeds, Preston, Brentford, Rotherham, Ipswich.... none of the them have spent anything like the near on 40m Johnson has spent since he come through the door, you’ve been sucked in by the bollocks him, Lansdown and Ashton always spout to downplay our chances.
Read my post again please. Its 3 then, not 4

Not tetchy, rarely post nowadays just getting fed up with the constant negativity.. don't see it with other teams posters, some of whom are in alot more dire straights than us.

To save you the trouble, after the Preston game I said that a few more performances (ie loads of players looking like they can't be arsed) like that and the manager might have to be replaced. Not exactly me jumping on the bandwagon is it. And I'd never want the team I support to lose just invade there's a chance the manager might get the sack.

We quite clearly dont miss Flint defensively, our defence is better in an overall worse team! I said it would be when he left and I'm proven right so far.

Refer yourself to my previous post, chatting out your fucking arse, Scott spelt backwards.

Give it up, there’s a reason Flint has started every game for the best defensive side in the league. If Webster was better than Flint Boro would’ve signed Webster.

Also the point on our fans moaning about LJ but criticising Ipswich fans for moaning about McCarthy is ridiculous, McCarthy didn’t spend anything like 40m at Ipswich, didn’t go on ridiculous losing runs etc — the only issue was that he played a “poor” brand of football... Lee Johnson’s sides serve up some absolute shite as well.
Give over Scott you’re really chatting out your arse here. He isn’t good enough to get anywhere near that Boro defence, that’s why.

Our goals conceded column has barely even improved either, 23 conceded this season in 19 games, extrapolate that over 46 and we’re currently on course to concede 56 goals, a whopping 2 less than we conceded last season. Then if you factor in that 8 of those goals were conceded in the final 3 games when there was nothing to play for then your argument holds no real value does it?

There’s also 4 other men in those defences that have an affect on the goals conceded that you’re seemingly discounting from your comparisons, and our full backs, particularly left sided, are far stronger this season.
LOL some people know, some people don't
