Is it Possible to Add a Second External Monitor to a Laptop with 1 HDMI Port?

Morning all. I have a HP laptop and an external monitor which I connect to via HDMI. I am looking to add a second external monitor; however I only have 1 HDMI port. I've looked into the idea of a splitter; but I'm unsure whether this would successfully power 2 external displays; or whether it will simply mirror them? Something like this I believe may work, but I'm not 100%? Are there other lower cost options, too? It depends what graphics card you have in your laptop I think? The dead cert way of doing it is with a docking station, but that's not low cost. I'd try ringing HP customer support maybe?

I know it's a Radeon graphics card.

Yes, of course, adding a Second External Monitor to a Laptop with 1 HDMI Port is possible. Use a switch splitter, such as a Display splitter to have two HDMI ports. This works if you have only one HDMI port on your laptop but you need two HDMI ports.
