FFS! Plod can FRO. Wouldn't they run into the same problems that Team Bath had in the conference?

Is Higgins under contract? Not that we are averse to stumping up a fee having previously done so to land Stuart King and Alex Akrofi.

Right, I'm at the Hendon vs Met Police semi-final. Not Police have just won a penalty...and scored. There's about 6 Not Police fans in a crowd of about 350.

1-1 now. Header from a corner a couple of yards out.

Half-time and 1-1. Hendon gradually getting on top after a rusty start but Not Police are still well in it.

Not Police have a man sent off for clipping a Hendon player as he ran clear.
Not Police have had a lot of pressure since falling behind but Hendon have had the better chances.

Nah its a mistake by the FA

Hayes & Yeading are Conference South not Farnborough

Well... that's like choosing between having an arm or a leg amputated. Spose one thing Hayes & Yeading & Woking & Maidenhead United have got going for them is they aren't Farnborough.

Seconds after Not Police have a goal disallowed their keeper is sent off for handling outside the area preventing a goal scoring opportunity.

Wouldnt it be so Ironic if Hendon who have been part of the Isthmian league system for over half a century earn promotion in the final season that Alan Turvey who has run the Isthmian for years himself retires?

Quite fitting really.
Hendon deserved their win, they had noticeably more flair and creativity than the Not Police. A crowd of 367 was pretty good as well, considering how awkward it is to get to Earlsmead and the visitors brought almost no fans as well.

Well done Hendon and Margate.

While it's hard on Enfield not being there, at least the two best teams in the play-offs have gone through, a theme that seems pretty prevalent up and down the pyramid, and credit to them for not letting the delay (and in the case of Hendon, unexpected change of opponents) affect their performances. (Though I wonder would the teams have had it so easy had they played their opponents when they were originally supposed to, as the postponement may have for whatever reason benefited the higher placed teams more, and Hendon played Enfield instead of Plod? I guess we'll never know.)

Well, I'm not sure the BEST two teams went through, but it's certainly true that the two highest place teams won, so I suppose that's some sort of justice. However, it seems we were were the better side against Margate last night and rather unlucky to boot - including one shot that hit both posts before being cleared. I'd like Margate to win the play off final, because I think we'll win the league next season without them there.

It's ok pinknblue, you can always win the play offs next season once the mighty Kingstonian have won the title.

Signs are positive for next season, defensively seem somewhat solid with Drage replacing Forbes, but there's a surely a big need for a focal point striker who's at least some sort of goal threat. Maybe as he's young McCoulsky will get more time to shine next season, and hopefully we can keep Carew (missing from the Margate game) for next season too.

Yeah, I think Harry's not been a sharp as I'd have liked, but I still rate him up front. We really do need someone to score 20+ goals for us. I think our biggest problem is getting quality final balls in the box. We have great wingers but final ball has to be better! Carew does look good sometimes, but he gets booked far too often and I think he could work harder sometimes.

54 I think.
Sounded like they were on the back foot after having a player sent off after 15 minutes.
