A bit late to the party because we're already games into the new season but as there is no Isthmian thread for the season set up yet here we are...

Third time is a charm... lets try have a season without disruption where there is actually proper merit based promotion/relegation at the end of the season! There was no movement in the Premier Division so the same 22 clubs go again here but in the lower three divisions there has been a lot of sideways movement & a few sneaky clubs who got themselves elected up a level (a couple of them were mid table in their step 5 leagues!) to fill spaces including the team which represents that well known historic town of Hashtag.

I see K’s have won their first three games. Are they actually going to challenge for the playoffs or promotion this season?

Isthmian League Football returns to Gander Green Lane this season as Sutton Common Rovers are playing their first ever season in the Isthmian South Central. As with the other team at GGL they’ve had a tough start with 2 defeats.

As a long term K's fan I know not to get my hopes up, but it's been encouraging. Casuals 'away' tomorrow, looking how they've started off we should be able to make it 4 for 4.

How’s the move to Casuals been Paddy and any news on moving back to the Royal Borough of Kingston?

Is what it is to be fair. Personally I quite like King George's Field, it's a nice walk from where I live & has a decent priced bar. It's no Kingsmeadow for sure but it's got 4 usable ends & no blue stuff. It's just about passable as a step 3 ground though so if we do end up getting promoted it's not going to be able to house step 2 football without work.

The ground is in Tolworth, which is in the borough. Originally we were looking at some kind of joint venture on the ground with Casuals but that's not happening anymore & the board are looking at alternative sites but there is no solid news.

Great result for Finchley last night against the Ks, especially after losing to struggling Pitsea and Bowers the previous Saturday.

I was surprised we lost that one to be fair. I didn't go to the game but it looks like it was more of a case of W&F turning it on rather than us playing badly. No invincibles season for us then!

Back to the FA Cup tomorrow, K's hosting Horsham.

W&F look like they could mount a playoff push with their squad.
