Opposing the pedestrianisation of Norwich city centre!!!!
The 911 specifically told you not to forget.

FFS.

He was probably laid in a gutter shitfaced on ale after blowing his dole on beer. A passer by told him but he was too insensible to understand. That's what happens in south Yorkshire.

Or opening doors, driving cars, moving into a new flat. Yeah, it does make you think now you mention it.

People who were born on that day will be starting university next year. Jeez, makes you think.

Next year, children who were born when their parents indulged in coitus on the day the twin towers fell will be going to university. Makes you wonder what this world is coming to TBQFHWY.

I know I'm being "whooshed" here but last time I checked, you don't go to university at 15.

I was at college when I heard the news. I didn't really appreciate the magnitude of it until I had got home and switched on the telly.

I still shudder when I watch the clips of those planes hitting the towers. Absolutely horrific.
Ditto for me too. Was even worse when people were reading the papers the next day trying to process it all.

My friend was killed when he drove his combine harvester in to a tree because he was distracted by a funny bumper sticker so forgive me if I don't find that particularly fucking funny.

Saltire, Blade and Martino did.
Add 10 years to that before I started! :D

Was at college all day and didn't know a thing till my mate phoned to say he'd pick me up and he mentioned something about the news. When I met him he told me everything and it sounded like something from a movie. I couldn't believe both towers collapsed and the Pentagon was attacked. Then when I got in to see for myself it was horrifying.

Speaking of university; I feel that having all subconsciously taken SATI 101 - An Introduction to Satire on 1FF over the last few months, we have recently just progressed to SATI 201 - Principles of Irony, SATI 505 - Forum Game Theory and SATI 322 - Parody in Practice, and I have personally just signed up for the extra evening course in SATI 69 - Further Banter, Without Trying Too Hard.

The Original Clique™ is back.
I think this is about the 29th thread full of posts making fun of the mawkish tributes that pop up when an unfortunate event hits the news.

We get it lads. People are idiots and the faux outrage and hollow laments we all have to endure when a rollercoaster crashes or popstar dies are annoying. But these threads are really fucking boring.

EDIT: It's more annoying because most of the people involved normally post something worth reading.

Gonna answer this properly coz I think "where where you????" stuff is vaguely interesting.

I was in an AS Level Art class. Teacher was a yank. We went home early that day. Sort of vaguely paid attention to the news that evening but not that much coz I was MOODY TEENAGER

I was at home, can't remember why, and had Talksport on, which I'm absolutely appalled at my younger self for. I seem to remember the presenter interrupting whatever they were talking about with a "btw, second plane has hit the world trade centre, anyway where were we...". I put tele on and watched it all day.

We beat Rushden and Diamonds that night. I think Shaun Smith scored a penalty.
