James Bond - Spectre Discussion.

Watched this last night, I enjoyed it overall, I'm pretty good at suspending disbelief when it comes to watching films though and hey its a Bond film, there are going to be elements involved. Few little things that got me though so using spoiler tag incase anyone hasn't seen it.

Spoiler: Duuhhhh

Bautista's character had such potential to be a Jaws esq character which returns over multiple films, although would only really work if Craig were returning for a 5th outing. Also the 00 programme is being scrapped and M suspects the guy badly, so why aren't more 00's working on stopping him? One thing I would love to see more even if its just for one scene in a film is for Bond to come across another 00 again, Goldeneye was the last time (and only?) I believe.

The other thing, who would people want as/think will be Bond if this is to be Craig's last film? I think Nicholas Hoult could be a dark horse, young, an actor on the rise, has the look of a Bond and if he does no further X-Men films isn't attached to a major franchise, also that he would be cheaper than the likes of Cavill, Fassbender, Hardy etc.

Hoult is around ten years too young. You really can't play Bond if you're under 30 if you ask me, or even under 35 ideally. It would just look silly.

I've no idea who Hoult is but Hardy must be the favourite. Excellent in all he does and to me, looks like a James Bond (whatever that means).

I could actually see it being Henry Cavill (Superman).

When the trailers for U.N.C.L.E kept airing, I kept thinking that he looked a bit like Bond

Cavill being so heavily involved with DC films will work against him, potential scheduling conflicts etc

No idea who he is either. Haven't seen the new Superman film. I'm not sure many people tipped Craig to get it so it'll probably be a left-field appointment.

Just got round to seeing this the other day. Thought it was a solid, by the numbers Bond movie, but had the potential to be so much better. After a great start it didn't really make the most of it. 7/10

I enjoyed this. Possibly Craig's best Bond movie. Wish Belucci would have been given more scenes but Seydoux made up for her. I liked the fact that the Bond girl is actually shown in more than 2 scenes unlike in Skyfall. Thought Ralph as M was quite good.
