Massive well done to Sir Alex..., sorry I mean Ady Pennock on winning manager of the month again.:2thumb:

Also good to see Danny Wright win the player award,

and Tim Harris and Robbie Cundy of Gloucester winning both awards in the North.

Fully deserved for Danny this month. 4 goals in 3 games. He's been fantastic all season. Proper workhorse.

Plus 1 assist .. good guy Danny is. Funny thing is he came back to us after the summer for his 2nd preseason, had dropped over a stone and was in the best shape of his career .. and was released.

I honestly didn't know what to expect, but he's proof that you shouldn't necessarily judge a player on his history elsewhere.

He never quite convinced for us but may have had more to do with our style. Still got 8 goals and 8 assists, not bad. Can recall someone on here calling him derogatorily "Mr Non-League", well in my book nothing wrong with being consistently among the best forwards in this league for a decade or so. I know he would rather of spent that time in L2 or L1, but he can look back on his career as being a decent, honest footballer, and can probably still knock up a passable sideboard when he gets his tools out of the loft.

Disappointed to see no recognition for our upturn in form. Thought Sam Jones would have had a decent chance of player of the month. I appreciate that Gloucester have also done superbly well but still.

He was brilliant for us, all through really but in particular in his last season for us. I'd have had him back in a second. Seems to have got over his glass elbows issue too.
