New Year, new hope.

Fulham (a) tough task, our away form has been very patchy and they have the new manager bounce but can see a draw. Wrong (1-0)

Fulham (h) FA Cup third round, wholesale changes, win. Correct

Bolton (h) Should be a routine home win. Anything but routine but correct

Leeds (h) Steve Evans and his loveable rogues in town, hopefully retain our good home form, win. Bang on

Reading (a) We never beat Egg McDermotts team away so home win wrong but a draw is good enough

Burnley (h) Can see our second home defeat of the season Postponed til 2nd February

Shrewsbury (a) Cup - Can see us slipping up here, which may not be a bad thing

Hull (H) - Sky TV - Lets be positive and go for a home win.
Forest (A) , FA Cup - Never won at their ground. Wont start now - loss.
Blackburn (A) - Hopefully we are thrashed so much by Forest, that our players stop trying so that they are fresh for this game. Draw at best.
Rotherham (A) 16th Jan - We have to get an away win at some stage, so I will say here. Win.
Wolves (H) - I am going to this, so this will be another defeat.
Forest (A) - See above.

7/15 - perfectly mid table.

3/4 correct so far. Hopefully it is 3/5 right by the end of tonight.

Our January home games look okay but away all tough.

MK Dons (H) - Don't think this will be as easy as some are making out but need to win this and think we might edge it. WIN
Rotherham (H - Cup) - Should have beaten them in the league so revenge on the cards. WIN.
Ipswich (A) - Usually struggle a bit down there but hope we can nick a point. DRAW.
Sheffield Weds (A) - Didn't pull up any trees at ER but seem better now and can see us losing this. LOSE.
Bristol City (H) - Hopefully get back on track against these lot to make up for the cheek of them not letting us maintain our winning record against them. WIN.
Brentford (A) - Have had the better of us since they got promoted and can see the same here. LOSE.

Predicted 7 points and cup progression.

Got 5 points and cup progression. 5 or 7 matters not...only competing for one thing this season now and it's gonna be great when Bolton knock us out of it on Saturday.

Tough month for us coming up:

Birmingham (A) - would be happy with a point here. Don't think we'll get any less, with some luck might get a win. DRAW

Walsall (H) - we'll make a few changes, which traditionally doesn't work that well for us, but we should come away with a WIN.

Middlesbrough (H) - couldn't handle them last season, though they were very lucky to avoid defeat in the first leg of the play offs. I'd like a win here but I think we'll LOSE.

Burnley (H) - 3rd game in 6 days for us, and most sides, but we'll have played them all at home. Hopefully that small advantage plays in our hands. Can see Gray coming back and scoring a couple, hopefully we sneak a win in a thriller though. WIN.

Preston (A) - couldn't deal with us when we played them at home, and we weren't playing anywhere near as well as we are now. WIN.

Leeds (H) - tough to say on this one, think we'll end the month with another DRAW.


8/15 and through in the cup will do me very nicely. Could easily be 10 points from the month if we defend well.

Predicted 8 and through in the cup. We got 4 and were knocked out of the cup. Bad month for us, especially with players going the squad is much weaker than it was. Hoping we'll get a couple of good quality bodies in before the window is up but we'll see on that front, a lot of people on our side suggesting as play offs look unlikely, and we should be safe as it is, we'll save the pennies for the summer and have a big push for next year. Give the players we currently have a chance. Got a lot of the summer sales from last year to spend as well.

Leeds (h) We usually draw against Leeds, im going positive though, home form to continue, win

Reading (a) Depends on Readings form at the time, draw

Burnley (h) We'll be due to drop points at home if we do as i hope up to this point, draw

Pretty tough month ahead...

Brentford (H) our home form has picked up somewhat in recent weeks, Brentford seem a decent side DRAW

Bournemouth (H FAC) it pains me to think that us beating Bournemouth would register as a shock in todays world our first meeting since the 8-0 mauling, I actually think Rowett will have a go in the Cup, 'SHOCK' WIN

Forest (A) Tough game LOSS

Derby (A) Another tough one, we do tend to pinch a point here though, optimistic DRAW

Ipswich (H) Good side LOSS

Bristol City (A) The real BCFC roll into town and put the pretenders in their place!!! Not been to Bristol City for ages, used to be a right moody place, hopefully they've still got that edge WIN

5/15 points will see us consolidate in lower mid-table.

Ended the month unbeaten in the league with 11 points from 15, narrowly exiting the FA Cup.

With that set of fixtures I'm over the moon with that return!!
