A brilliant character, a man who did more for the game than most of the people on this forum realise. He done wonders for the players as president of the PFA, he was a life preserver for Coventry and Fulham, he introduced "punditry" to TV, he was a stalwart on MOTD for 15 years, he made three points for a win rather than two points a reality. He got under the skin of the Sweaties, good for you Jim, flick my bit Saltire it is just a game chap, grow up.

You can do things in life and still be a c*** and thats what he was, I'm sorry he developed Alzheimer's as I know first hand about that as my gran got it, and for his demise but as to the person meh he was an arse.
