I suspect they very much will. Which no doubt he will love. I'm fairly confident Bristol Rovers won't be kicking off the new season with him in charge, surely its not worth the negativity surrounding the club. You would also think female fans are unlikely to attend with Barton managing.

I think the football club are in a difficult position. They can’t sack him when he’s not even be tried yet - even if him staying has a detrimental effect on the club. I suppose they could try and come to an agreement with him re paying him off or put him on gardening leave until found innocent/guilty.

Whatever the outcome I feel Barton’s managerial career may be over. Damaged goods now - guilty or not.

From the outside looking in the guy seems to know what he is doing on the managial front but he is definitely more than a few slates missing off the full roof. The list of his crimes , as it were, is lenghty going back a long way since his arrest in Liverpool for attacking some guy outside Boots in the city centre years along. He obviously has severe anger issues.
