Got to say this has taken the wind out of my sails. Forget the Swindon/Oxford football side of this. I knew Joey - not intimately - but through our mutual love of greyhounds. It’s been a while since I’ve spoken to him. Lovely fella.

My thoughts with his family and friends. Genuinely devastated.

Very sad news. Thoughts are with his friends and family.

Remember he would cause Vale no end of trouble when he was at Oxford. One hell of a good player he was.
