Agreed because him and Barkley need to be pushed if they are going to go to the next level as players, because Everton are going nowhere as a club, and that is why i hope Guardiola gets Stones after the European Championships this summer.

Doubt you'll be in the Europa League next season, currently on the field you are going backwards at the moment, no way you can deny that. Not a chance of being up there with the top 6 until you sack Martinez in my opinion.

Played well but was partly at fault for our goal with an iffy back pass to the goalie.

Wouldn't be surprised to see him go this summer, along with Lukaku. His stock seems to have gone down since last summer when he tried to force the move to Chelsea, not helped by performances like last night. If they somehow still get a big price for him, would Everton fans still be overly bothered to see him go?

Class act that needs to be properly managed. It would be good for England if he goes to work under Guardiola you'd have to think.

Yep needs to play with better players to progress, he is massively out of confidence though brought on by over-confidence funnily enough

Over-hyped to say the least. The lad is good with the ball at his feet but he's an average to poor defender. At fault for Origi's goal last night as Divock easily out jumped him.

He'd certainly improve his stamina and recovery speed. Guardiola's players have unnatural fitness levels.

That sustained tempo and intensity Bayern produced in the second leg against juve in the CL was insane, I remember thinking watching the game.

Stones just needs a manager that actually knows how to set up a balanced team rather than throw the kitchen sink game after game. I don't think the asking price will be drastically different to last summer should he move.

If he heads into the Euros in this current form, I'm worried.
But then I've no idea who else we'd pick.

Yes, weird isn't it. They must have had a coffee or something.

I do really like John Stones but last night just made me realise he is very much the opposite of Sakho... A good footballer, but not a great defender.
