What's bugging me is that all my family want to go plus mates of my dad and my lad. Having only 2 ST's means I have to wait until 02/03 to get tickets together as I need more than 8.
Any ideas?
Ask on OTIB, someone might be able to do you a favour.

People been sat outside our ticket office since 3.30 this morning, crazy bastards! Seems like the initial sale is going to be good.

How odd. They do know it's being played at Wembley Stadium and not Wembley Arena?

I know You saddlers have never played at Wembley before but surely there will be plenty to go round?

Indeed, I haven't bothered. We will get where we want to sit by picking up the phone anyway.

Got my ticket today, queue was mossive! 4 hour wait :( But since I'd already taken over an hour to get there on the M6, I wasn't turning back.
Rumour is that we have already shifted 10,000, amazing if it's true, considering that tickets are only on sale to Season ticket holders (who can purchase 6 apiece)

Why would you wait in a queue for a game that won't sell out?

I understand your point, if I lived locally, I wouldn't have bothered, in my case since it takes me around an hour to get there, it wasn't worth turning around and travelling back down on another day.
Incidentally, the club have announced that we have sold 8,000 tickets (as of Thursday evening)
They have gone on sale to people with a booking history from this season today, there were more long queues!
They go on general sale next Friday. I expect that we will sell at least 20,000.

If I'm being honest, I don't think many of ours will make general sale as after ST holders (around 9000), we have Bristol sport members, rugby ST holders and forever Bristol / Lansdown club (corporates) members BEFORE any remaining tickets go on to general sale.
Unless we can get some more (currently 39000), I reckon there will be quite a few fed up people in Bristol which is daft if Walsall sell 20000 (with all respect to them).

Usually for these games it's start selling from Point A and keep filling until End Point B is reached. If a club don't sell 10k of tickets, they'd get turned over to the other club and End Point B becomes somewhere else. What do the FA care who sits in a seat as long as they get a body there paying them money. 80,000 from one club or a mix of two clubs, club wembley, freebies etc. Bums on seats look good and get them cash!

Well our £28 and £60 have sold out as of today, so I'd imagine that's over half gone at least. Wonder if we may get an extra allocation? All these part timers. I wonder if the club should do something to get some of the day trippers back to the bescot next season by offering cheap tickets to a few games next season for anybody with proof of a Wembley ticket.

I know of two people who are going who haven't been for years, one an old school friend who has lived in Germany for the past 25 years and hasn't been to a game since the early eighties (he's bringing his daughter), the other has worked abroad on cruise ships for many years, but came back to the UK 2 years ago to live near Dundee with his partner - he wants two tickets as well - he did see a game last season when he visited family in Walsall, but other than that hasn't been for years.
They've both contacted me on facebook asking if I can get tickets!
Neither of them are going to be regulars, if only because of geography.

Hopefully the club can do something to encourage more locally based part timers, the problem is that it's regulars/ST holders doing the purchasing, so they aren't building up a database.

Nothing wrong there SR, we all have lives outside of football.

Still will hopefully make general sale, would be disappointed if it sells out in the membership phase with a lot of non city fans getting tickets.

maybe an over reaction to hearing how many tickets sold that quickly, but I want to go with the rest of my family and they'd probably only go if they can sit in certain places (one has a fear of heights so top tier probably not an option, I get it to a less extent an don't feel overly comfortable up there)

6 tickets in block 112, including a Wycombe fan, Arsenal fan and a non-footy fan.

Spreading the word as you were.
