Last night - what a bloody disaster.

We had a 52 seater coach to pick a load of us up from our local early tomorrow morning, but the bloke who arranged it all had a text and email come through last night saying the coach we have hired had broken down, and we may have some trouble arranging a replacement..

If the worst came to the worst, we could pay ridiculously over the odds for a last minute train ticket, which would be OK, but it's just a pain to change last minute, and the 52 of us to be possibly split up.

Enjoy the day Walsall and City fans. I've been to the final when we lost to Chesterfield and despite the poor performance really enjoyed the whole event (and the pressure isn't really on as it's a nothing trophy). If you get a sunny day that's an extra bonus as well!

To all my fellow reds heading for Wembley and to the Walsall fans as well, have a safe journey and a brilliant day. I have made the choice to spend my money on Oldham, Preston and Chesterfield and am regretting it at the mo after meeting my brothers from Dortmund who are heading for Wembley tomorrow when I am not. It should be a belting day.
May the best team win and that team bring the JPT home (down the M4 to junction 19 preferably).

First time to wembley for me, can't wait now, got respect for walsall as a club but hope that they don't enjoy the day too much (you can have it next year)

Due to long term health conditions I can't make this one, will be watching on sky and would love it if we bring home the trophy, it's true it is a great day out but the difference between winning and losing is massive.

I remember 1986 like yesterday but 1987 is a complete blur.

For those going for the first time if like me in 86 it probably feels like a kid waiting for Christmas Day, enjoy it, lap it up and sing your hearts out, but most of all come home safe.

That said I've had nothing but rotten luck at Wembley. Two defeats, no goals, a missed coach back and a flat battery. Probably best I stay away unless absolutely necessary.

I thought I was the only City fan not going.

I've never been that enthusiastic about the JPT, so I can't justify the cost of the journey to Wembley and the cost of the day out. I'll be watching on TV though.
