Oxford are there after beating Millwall tonight. Don't know why, but can't get wildly excited about it. I'll be going though. :bg:

Good day out is the JPT Final. Good to see a L2 club make it to the final as well.

I really want us to make it. I genuinely don't care if it has a negative impact on our league form, a Wembley final is a Wembley final after all.

Oxford fans would like that too! No disrespect to Fleetwood fans, but the crowd will be a lot bigger and atmosphere better.

Comme ci comme ca. Wembley's like a second home for us these days anyway. Enjoy the final, Oxford.

Only watching this to see how Brownhill gets on, he's tracked back well and really got stuck in so far, not something i'd usually associate him with. Hopefully we recall him if we send Paul Gallagher for his hernia operation.

Well done both teams. A better spectacle than the so called Ford Super Sunday games served up.

Not like Oxford to lose important games 3-2.

Hahaha.

Great day out. Barnsley deserved the win but felt like a good game of football.

They were a great set of fans and was a good atmosphere around the ground. Feel sorry for whoever gets to play Man City B next year.

Sobered up.

Brilliant day out. I'm over the moon, never thought I'd see my club lift a trophy at Wembley (yeah yeah I know JPT blah blah blah). Atmosphere was great, took 10k less than we did for the FA cup semi but all in good spirits throughout. Oxford fans were great, I've been on the other end of a big Wembley game in the past so I know how they feel, only saw one bit of bother all day and that was a dickhead Barnsley fan who obviously couldn't handle his ale.

Hammill played a blinder, too good not to be playing Championship football. Oxford were very good, better than a lot of L1 teams I've seen this season.

Crack on with the league now and maybe another trip to Wembley.

A town with a population of about 80k I believe, and not exactly an affluent area.

Maybe it shouldn't be played at Wembley if attendances aren't going to be above 60k.

If we got there we would take 50k.

Only two other stadiums in England would be able to accommodate yesterdays attendance, one in London, both seeing games played this weekend. I can't see either of their respective tenants being too eager to host the final of a trophy contested between two clubs from the bottom two tiers. Also the second largest crowd for the final at Wembley since it re-opened. Not sure why we didn't take as many as we did for the FA cup semi, but we took three times as many fans as our average home attendances and came home with the trophy so can't say I'm dwelling on it too much.

Not as important and those who went the first time for the day-trip will be less inclined to return.
