Millwall away. We will go out and I won't be there to see it. I shall most probably be at Gillingham v Luton.

Stevenage away.

Winnable tie for us (and for them), should be an interesting one. The South-East section isn't particularly intimidating, decent chance of an area final for anyone there, although you'd make Gillingham favourites at the moment.

Away at Plymouth. Certainly winnable. Expect their manager will be taking it very seriously with it being his first Devon Derby.

Easy home tie against a small team from Wiltshire for us.

Beat them and then I don't care if we go out in the next round.

Doesn't work like that I'm afraid. The next round if opened up to the whole of the southern area.

Luton fans are weird.
Gillingham players fall over a lot.
Lawless can't kick a ball to someone in a Luton shirt.

These are my observations

Obviously Bristol City at home to Bristol Rovers 2 seasons ago was the highest jpt crowd! Must have been around 17-18k

Disappointing that the fringe players didn't stake their claim to a first team spot...but I wasn't there and expect that BRFC have a decent squad for this level, so who knows whether we underperformed or just that the Gas were better than us.

So reading the local rag report, seems like we were outplayed, no excuses. Well done to BRFC, let's see where the league takes us.

Not interested in the JPT, never have been and I know it was against Sheffield United but that was very worrying indeed.
Our inability to defend yet again, it also doesn't help changing 9 players on a Saturday and 8 further changes on a Tuesday.
If we get well beaten on Sunday I think the axe might start getting sharpened.

Oh I love a derby day win.

9,441, superb crowd for a JPT game.

Exeter didn't know what to do with us at times, very good display.

Top of the league, 3 wins in a week and through to the third round, happy days

You were all well up for it after you beat us.

We have turned that many corners we have bought out Muller. We go from decent to rubbish game after game.
So far this season we have been "the best team we have played" for 2 clubs but the likes of Oxford, Mansfield, Orient, Wimbledon we can't be even close to that. We go from 20 odd shots in a game to less than 8. I am sure Moniz has Football Manager handheld and is playing it during the match. You know when your 2-1 down with 10 minutes to go and throw on 3 strikers!
I have no clue what is going on. Worst part of it is I don't think Moniz does either.

Great win over Wycombe tonight - it could and should have been more than 2-0 in the end.

We made four changes to rest certain players (as did Wycombe), but the fact this Saturday's game with the Chairboys has been postponed meant both managers could afford to go for it a bit more knowing they had 11 days until their next match. It showed, and I have to say it was an entertaining game to watch.

Wycombe looked decent going forward, as you would expect for a side 2nd in the division, but we looked even better and that was the most pleasing thing. Considering we rested/were without two of our first choice defenders, I think it was inevitable that we would be a little shaky at the back at times, but we still held firm to claim a clean sheet. Taylor's goal was a beauty, Easter's was smart and if it wasn't for a couple of good Ingram saves and poor finishing from close range we would have won by four or five.

Good night for the Gas.

Not particularly bothered about last nights results to be honest. It doesn't really help either those with big squads, nor those with small squads having to play 6 players that played the last league game. Those with bigger squads will want to get fringe players involved but can't, whereas smaller teams have to manage workload.

As above. Would have liked to win obviously but in all honesty not fussed about going. Shame we didn't win after going 1-0 up though.

Minutes in the legs of Lawless Potts Okuonghae O'Brien and Doyle though which will be invaluable.

Go again Sat looking for 5 straight league wins.

Choo choo!!

Having got a bye into this round, we beat a strong Donny Rovers side 2-0. Fair play to the Donny fans who took an absolute drenching on our open terrace in the 2nd half. If we could play like that every week I wouldn't be worried.

Curzon Ashton....and Carlisle
Good chance of a decent crowd in the final this year that southern section has lots of teams who can take 30-40,000.

you have Bristol R, Southend, Plymouth, Gillingham, Millwall, Oxford who would take lots and even Yeovil could take 20,000 odd.

Good chance this season for a Morecambe or York to make a nice bit of money if they can get through to the final and it isn't impossible we did it 4 times when in L2.

and for them L2 southern sides, if say Sheff Utd got to the final against a Bristol R, Plymouth or Oxford you could look at a 70,000 plus crowd......makes it worthwhile.

Not unhappy at all that we lost, with a small squad we can't afford anymore injuries and suspensions. Saw that 123 Wycombe fans were there god knows why!

Glad we are out to be honest. The fact you can only rotate half the squad seems ridiculous. Agree with what Wilder said afterwards, said fans clearly don't enjoy JPT so should ditch it entirely. Would anyone care?!
