I'll never forget his memorable FA cup goal to knock Premier league Ipswich out. Or his opener at Old Trafford.

I seem to remember that he joined the police, but that may be my memory playing tricks on me.

A very sad loss. He was a part of our greatest ever side in 96/97 - winning promotion to Div 1/Championship and reaching the League Cup semi-finals, knocking out a number of PL teams on the way. Anyone who played a role in that side will remembered as a legend around these parts for a very long time.
