Happy birthday Kirk. Paths of Glory, Spartacus, The Vikings, Champion, Detective Story, Lust For Life, 20,000 Leagues Under The Sea, Lonely Are The Brave, Holocaust 2000 etc! He also spoke up for those blacklisted in the McCarthy witch hunts and helped end it. What a lege!

I've not seen that in ages. Was always meaning to do a Kirk Douglas run of films one day, I might just do that over the next few months

Paths of Glory is a classic one of my top 10 war films.

Congratulations, Kirk Douglas! 100 years, wow!
I liked him in several roles (maybe only because Kirk sounds a bit like Dirk )

Tbh: I don't want to live until 100....tomorrow I'll be 54 and to think about it that I could live for another 46 years frightens me in this crap world.
