Not gonna lie, I'd be taking all those Bradford players out. Jamie Walker specially, out with a knee injury for a while.

Good call, unfortunately he's out for "a matter of months". Think Cas had him too, so if you haven't switched him then I'd make that your change this week mate.

Both Walker and McAtee out injured. Lovely stuff. Can I transfer out Walker and replace him with Ben Whitfield of Barrow, please? Can I have Beckles as captain also. I've no idea what I'm not doing anymore

And the week 2 results are finally in.

Northstandexile with the biggest score of the week thanks to another huge week from Tom James with 11 points and Hiram Boateng as his captain bagging an assist.

Soup Ladle managed to clutch defeat from the jaws of victory with a -3 defeat, Mckirdy costing him big time.

I should have included Average as a player as he takes down Big bird away from home.

League table to follow shortly!

6 teams manage to keep their unbeaten record alive.

Deepcut Cobbler unlucky to run into two juggernauts in the first two weeks, whereas Crewelad and Bigbird have benefited from some easy opening fixtures.

Still plenty of time for things to turn around :)

Week 3 fixtures will follow at a later date.

If you think there may have been an error with your points tally or league finish as usual just let me know. Need to tweak some of my formulas but will wok out the kinks shortly enough.

Think all is correct though.

15 of the 21 captain choices got 0 or negative points in week 2 so think wisely ahead of week 3.

Also some big hitters in terms of Horsfall, Burge, Guthrie, Hylton, Mckirdy, Telford yet to fire, is it time to give up on them or is it too early to drop them?

Still managed to sneak a win despite the depleted squad, Mark Hughes take note!

I'm reluctant to put any of ours in as typically they'd become a bunch of donkeys.

I will be taking Mckirdy out and putting in Donovan Wilson of Sutton. I hope Turnbull gets playing for Tranmere soon!

No he didn't mate, he was ruled out but we hadn't been given any kind of timeframe at that point. I suspect one of the terms of the loan back from Luton was that we agreed for him to have his shoulder operation and that's why it's a matter of months.

Why loan him back if that’s the case? I believe that particular injury can take up to 6 months to recover from after surgery and he’s using up one of your loan slots?

It's a dislocated shoulder, so more like 2-4 months than 6. He's also our star player who our side is pretty much built around so it's not like we're using a loan slot up on an 18 year old who has never played a professional game.

We have a keeper on loan from Charlton in the same position, dislocated his shoulder in our first preseason friendly (again, it ended his season last year), he’s not expected back till the new year.

Admittedly the injury is more of a worry for a goalie.

DEFF Peter Clarke* (Walsall)
DEFF Luke Waterfall (Grimsby) - just to please the fishy folk.

M/F Kane Hemmings (Tranmere)
M/F Paddy Madden (Stockport)
M/F Danny Hylton (Northampton) captain week 3

*can i put in Peter Clarke (Walsall) instead of Matty Platt (Bradford) this week, and changing captain to Danny Hylton
** IF AFC Wimbledon is classed as W and not A then i'll change it to Omar Becles in for Matty Platt

Yeah maybe, more of a concern for a keeper there I think. McAtee did it back in April and then again 45 seconds into this season. He ran down the tunnel and apparently popped it back in himself that time and then played the rest of the match so perhaps there are varying degrees of severity. I guess nobody knows how long he'll be out for yet but Hurst basically said he'll be back at some point and however long he's back for he'll be worth having in the squad.
