Fuck off Roy Hodgson. Seriously, how he's managed to fuck this tournament up is beyond me.

Lets start with the squad. If he wanted to play a 4-3-3, why the fuck did he only take 1 winger?! Mistake number 1. I know he wasn't awash with decent wide options, but if he wanted to play 4-3-3, then he should have taken Townsend and/or Walcott. Why did he take Wilshere, Henderson and Milner. Waste of time. Why was Defoe not in the team? Why did we take half fit players like Henderson and Wilshere over guys like Noble and Drinkwater?

Then we come to the selections made. The 4-3-3 formation does not suit this team, but because we "played well" against Russia, Roy for some stupid reason decided to persevere with it. He seems to forget that we needed a free kick/goalie error to break down a dogshit Russia team that Wales picked apart with ease. Against Wales, we were terrible and needed a bit of luck to break them down. It was another performance where the result papered over the wank performance. Slovakia was just a carbon copy of the first 2 games. What was the one constant in all 3 games, where we won one of them? The formation. Knocking square pegs in round holes every time. Sturridge out wide, Rashford out wide, Lallana out wide. Are you kidding me?! This is amateur level tactics and selections. Then we have the in game tactics. No tactical change, just switch midfielder for midfielder. Winger for winger. Hodgson is clueless when it comes to tactics. Hasn't got the foggiest idea how to switch things up when he's tactically matched. Kane on set pieces?

Then we have the players. Another bunch of spineless, gutless cowards who disappear when it matters. They've not been properly prepared or used, but they still should have done far far better than what they've done. Time for Roy to go, time for Rooney to go. Both not good enough for international football. Pathetic, yet again.

Got to give credit to Iceland. To a man they've shown bottle and determination, spirit and courage. They were superb and they fully deserved their win tonight. Made us look like complete chumps.
