Huge game for us tonight. Would like to think Southend are on the beach - so to say - but as they twatted MK Dons (thanks) at the weekend it would perhaps suggest that is not the case.

Both our first choice CBs are out for the remainder of the season now, so we are left with rookie George Edmundson, slow veteran Brian Wilson and recalled youth Jamie Stott. Not good for a side that has already conceded the most goals in L1 this season.

A win here would be absolutely delightful and I am just hoping our very impressive midweek record can aid us in getting that.
