Landon Donovan(!) has joined the Club as Strategic Advisor as part of a circa £1m American investment into the Club.

I pledge allegiance to our new American overlords

USA! USA!

Sounds like they're putting in around 750k initially and appear as a silent partner with Landon Donovan being far more involved.
Another step along the evolution of Lincoln City from where we were when Clive Nates arrived 6 years ago to now is unbelievable and incredible, total rebirth of the club.

Out of nowhere, our chairman is stepping down after 3 years at the helm. Even more surprising, it seems he's being pushed.

I'm not an insider, so God knows what's going on. Seems to be causing a big stir though given he was the one who wanted to sack Gary Johnson and appointed Michael Duff. A lot of fans very unhappy.

I'm in two minds - you can't argue with the uphill trajectory we've been on since he became chairman, however, his interviews were all very much "me me me me me me" and he loved to name drop the ex-Prem players he knew (Lee Hendrie and Lee Carsley).

Interesting to see what's going on, but I don't see it derailing us too much.

We're redeveloping the Stacey West Stand next season and at some point after around Xmas they're going to take the roof off it and to comply with EFL rules, we're bringing in a temporary covered stand holding 185 away supporters.

I thought we'd be able to wait until the summer before the roof came off but there's obviously more work to do than I thought.

Welcome to the temporary stand club. (although ours could probably be listed as a historical structure by now)

Until it changes again.
True - after the Euros or when we get into winter.

They had to reduce restrictions I guess after allowing full houses at Wimbledon ,F1 and some crowd at Wembley

tbh name checking those two as 'friends' gives you an idea of his persona.

He appealed to a certain type of Cheltenham fan - in fact, the ones kicking off the most all seem too come from a certain demographic. Notably, the ones who tend to think we're getting relegated the moment we lose a game and getting promoted with every win.

Us and Fleetwood under some kind of embargo, what that means in real terms though I’ve no idea.

Surely bearing in mind the difficult times your club has been through, wishing a points deduction on any side, regardless of what 'shite' you have received is narrow minded, insensitive and downright childish.

Doesn’t make any difference does it, he just uses this place as his own personal click bait.

No reasoning with it.

Its not really against there club in all honesty i have nothing against Gillingham....They are a team who we have barely played in over 140 years and they are 230 miles away.
There fans sprouted shite on here at our demise and its them that i aim for..............If its wrote on this forum and 12/24 months down the line it happens to them...........well i think they are fair game

He has ridiculed Bolton on here over and over again from predicting they will go bust this summer to they should be sent down for 3 years for what they did............me neither.
Lge 2 Predictions last season he had us to finish 24
Dont write shite on here and expect no payback if your club goes through shite

So think before you post crap that may come back to bite you
