Shrewsbury seem to be the first Club to say they have 'several' Covid cases after the EFL testing this week.

I know they had two(?) cases in the last week or two as well.
Ours have come back all negative

Sounds like Peterborough's have as well ahead of our game at the weekend.

No word on ours yet, which I'm not sure is good or bad news! Appleton's due back at training on Friday I think.

Ours are all negative too. I am really surprised that there has not been an avalanche of positive tests this week.

Swindon players and staff have a clean bill of health.......looking like it may be just a couple of clubs that have covid running through their squads I reckon

I think we’ve lost 5 loan players this window, 1 has come in so far. Nice Mr Evans has some work to do as we already had a very small squad.

Looks like they’re heading back too, but I’m sure they were on season long loans. Something tells me all in the squad is not good.

This is what Evans does, didnt he replace half of the loans last season in January?
If scally don't back him I can see Evans walking before the end of the window.

He will be gone in the summer at the latest I have no doubt about that

He does like a high turn over of players yes, but once you take out our injuries and reserve keeper we’re down to about 13 or 14 players.

An interesting, sensible and probably accurate comment from a poster on our forum:

"Interesting thought is that if the results from the last 3 games were repeated over a full season we would score over 150 goals ,but would probably be relegated with 46 points ."

Was it Man City in the 1930s who scored 100 league goals and still got relegated?

Like ourselves, you should really be worrying about the number of goals you concede.

Oh believe me; we do worry about it !!

We have a young keeper on loan from Man City, who is getting plenty of work behind a staggeringly weak back four. He's generally doing well though.

Our two full backs are Matty Done who was signed as a striker, but who hasn't scored a league goal in about 18 months, and can't put a challenge in because he looks scared, and Jimmy Keohane, who has the pace of an injured pensioner, and who really isn't up to playing league football.

Then, we have a very good teenager on loan from Brighton; Haydon Roberts . He has been class, but can't do it on his own.

Our other two centre backs are both injured....captain Eoghan O'Connell out for 6-8 weeks and Paul McShane almost permanently injured to some degree

Our fourth choice centre back Jim McNulty (he is only 4th choice because we don't have 5 centre backs) stupidly got himself sent off for kicking someone in the balls at the weekend. we improved hugely after he went off...no surprise.

Oh...we do have one other full back , and a good one (Ryan McLaughlin) but he has been injured so often that it's almost like he doesn't play for us anymore. shame, as he is a good player when (rarely) seen.

Quite surreal really, as pre-season; most were lamenting the fact that we'd released our three top scorers from last year, and wondering where our goals would come from.

Rumours circulating we are bombing Sheridan out. Absolute clown. Doesn’t even know players’ names, has the tactical nous of a tortoise, man management skills non existent.

Should sort itself out next month. Power is desperate to get out. The bloke who bought 15% of the club that Power tried to screw over is supposedly willing and able to take it on. The issue with Standing/Barry is really guesswork bordering on illegal, I reckon. By illegal, I mean against EFL rules not criminal - so I suppose that will sort itself out out of court as it’s a purely civil matter.

Whatever, it’s right royally screwed us over this season with Power unwilling to fund - if he ever was - the club. Plenty reckon he’s actually put in very little of his own money and have no idea where it comes from anyway. Better not to ask if you don’t fancy swimmin’ Wid da fishes.

All good news for you, though, I suppose!

Whilst it is amusing it isn't a good thing. We've all had bad owners and I'm sure most will get another in the future as well.

All clubs that have become proper shite have had bad owners, I reckon. It’s the cross lower league clubs especially have to bear.

You lot hit rock bottom but have bounced back. It’s just a cyclical thing. Tbh, I’d rather see Bournemouth crash and burn!
