Got it!

Thank god - would have been £20 down the drain booking trains so far in advance
. Was going to go to the Brentford B friendly, don't live far from the ground.

Only to see its where the London Met play ffs
Great news. Now to do something against the norm and actually get a positive result down there!

The EFL need to start actually doing something about all this.

What's the incentive for actually running your club properly and sticking to the rules if other clubs just ignore them?

Points deductions please.

It’s hardly an isolated case is it - we hear about it so many times now.
All in the pursuit of promotion and chasing the dream. That and players wages been too high.
It will be a fine and nothing more I’m sure.

Trafford won’t even be the best keeper Burnley sign this summer.
Muric is the best ball playing keeper I've seen in the Championship, I'd be surprised if he gets dropped tbh.

Less than £200k for Will Keane.

A bit of compo rather than going to court, Wigan clearly don't have a leg to stand on if their players want to cancel their contracts.

Think that is exactly what Wigan want and need. They have got to get their wage bill down to ©£6 million p.a to comply with FFP rules.
Even their previous owner acknowledged that when he stated that the wage bill had to be cut by 66% for the coming season.
The more that they can somehow get out of the door the better it will be for them. Will also make their fans realise that a football club needs to be run on sensible financial lines rather than expecting owners just to throw their hard earned cash at the club to appease their greedy, selfish living in a Dreamworld fans

Our owners trying to shunt us off within a few years. To be fair this has always been hidden in plain sight, they haven't been shy about it, but you're always nervous about the potential to be flogged off to asset strippers...

To be fair reading his quotes he seems like he’ll do his due diligence on the buying side

Trafford is undoubtedly a great keeper and will most likely go onto be England’s number 1 (between him and Dean Henderson I think), but I have to say he put in one of the worst goalkeeping performances that I’d seen down the Meadow last season.

Terrible mistake from him staying on his line and flapping at an arial ball gifted us all 3 points last season. His kicking was very suspect that day too. Most of his kicks went out of play!
Both Henderson and Trafford came from our youth setups - hope they both go for big money as we're in for a cut on both...

That reminds me, is that daytime strip joint still operating there?...think it was The White 'something'? - asking for a friend obvs
The White Horse... I just looked on their website and yes, it still seems to be very much a going concern.

I wouldn't read this local paper article unless you're particularly arsed, but apparently they're trying to convert it (like seemingly everything else in this country) into flats, but you're safe for now.

Embarrassing sponsorship alert...

insert your own jokes here..."the easiest way of getting rid of the whiff is just not to travel to Wycombe in the first place" etc
I would have thought this would be more suitable...

That’s brilliant. And they know the jokes they’ll get for it too, great marketing.

So great that I thought hey, let’s see what they do. Such balls means I owe it to at least see if they have something interesting.

They’re urinal designers.

Posh have decided to do away with BBC Radio Cambridge and charge their fans to listen to games through their own site coverage.

Another masterstroke by them in pissing fans of. They have seemed prone to brain fart moments like that down the years.

Jim Roswell, again, and a bunch of Yanks.
Feel for you guys.Would be great if a consortium of wealthy Charlton fans were able to buy you
I reckon Charlton are going to be up there this season.
I got a soft for Charlton even though they always win at Fratton Park. As they keep reminding us everytime we play them..

Personally if it means BBC Cambs covers the county's main club then good riddance to them.

Macanthony is a known money grabbing crook, it's surprising they haven't pulled more stunts like this sooner to be honest. With the Canadian owners having legal/financial issues they'll clearly need extra revenue sources.

MacAnthony has always come across as an egotistical dickhead but this just makes no sense. The effect of this is only to be to alienate fans who can’t make the games anymore due to age or ill-health. I doubt they’ll get more than a handful of people paying for it to make it worthwhile.

I just hope that doesn’t start a wider trend.

Our fanbase is always underestimated. Without the other lot, this along with Rovers, is our 'derby' this year so even on a Tuesday we should take more than that
I wasn't far out then.
