Yep decent. Good in air and very confident. Sometimes gets done by low shots as he is tall and slightly slow down. We would have loved him but can't afford him.

The reason I suggested it might be Barnett, was because when I had a chat with the outgoing CEO, he told me that Collins who was on loan at Northampton at the time was desperate to stay at Shrewsbury!
When we took him back from Hibs he was on reportedly 3500 plus per week, so that maybe a stumbling block, I don't know?

If you do take Collins can we offer Barnet as well please, I was hoping Southend would take him but have clearly changed their minds which is a blow!

Hello chaps, first post here and nice to see an active League One forum.

I'm generally happy with our signings so far, I see people critisice the likes of Dodds and AJ, but you have to take into context our expectations and limitations, these are certainly good signings for a club of our stature in this division, in my opinion of course. I don't doubt the terrible reports of McGivern but I'm satisfied with the mentioned above, plus O'Brien, Riley, Sarcevic etc, so no complaints from me so far.

Losing Knight-Percival to Bradford is dissapointing but not unexpected. Classy defender who has had injury issues but hopefully thats behind him now, if we've offered him a reduced contract because of said injuries I'd be dissapointed, if it was actually a reasonable offer but he's decided to move on then fair dos.

Reports of Collins going to Wimbledon today but doesn't seem to be any confirmation, think its fair to say him, Barnett and Wellens are all available and hopefully we can move them on to free up considerable wages.

We're certainly on track to have a better squad then last season, I hope.

Can't tackle, not a particularly good passer, can't shoot, can't dribble. The best thing I can say about his ability is he runs around but not across the half way line because that is too dangerous for him.

Amazed he has got a 3 year deal, suspect this is a case of Swindon seeing he has 100 appearances for a perceived 'big' club in this division so thinking he must be half decent. If you had signed him on a one year deal I'd have still thought he was a crap signing but could see the logic behind taking the gamble on a short term deal.

Smurf is flying to Monte Carlo to tie up another couple of players... One rumour that's been mentioned (and was mentioned before) is Edgar Salli... A few tweets from France have suggested something might be done and was mentioned a couple of weeks ago. Get him I'd be very very happy. Winger that's scored a fair few goals for Lens and St Gallen (and a couple for Monaco and Cameroon)
