We're apparently trying to sign Rotherham's CM Jamie Lindsay? I think he might be out of contract in the summer. Bid has been rejected. Probably £10k and a signed football, knowing us.

I would be amazed if we let Lindsay leave and not happy.

Will Keane went off injured today, looked like a hamstring. I'd expect us to swing into action again if so. It would be nice if Newcastle stopped dicking around and gave Brighton the 15m they want for Dan Burn, so we can cash in our sell on.
13m bid accepted, so that’s 15-20% of 9m coming our way (don’t know which percentage is correct).

Doncaster fans, what’s Matt Smith like? Rumour that we’re about to sign him permanently from Man City.
Technically good but a little lightweight, easily knocked off the ball, having said that he could have put a bit of muscle on since leaving us and he’s a damn site better than what we have at present

Yes, the Arsenal lad is on loan with us this season, last season with Swindon. We had the Matt Smith from Citeh on loan last season who is a Welsh International

Bonner has confirmed a striker is coming in with possibly another tomorrow.

No idea who but we need a target man whilst Ironside is injured.

Is that a general consensus of ex Charlton players :bg:

To be fair, yes. Especially any ex Charlton player of the past 10 years.

Sounds like we’ve gone back to Ipswich with a second bid for Fraser.

Not sure whats in that from an Oxford perspective, in my opinion hes not been right since picking up the hamstring injury he got in the L2 promotion season. Only a bit part in the league 1 season and has been kept on for sentimental reasons only really.

He needs to leave but i thought it would be to a League 2 side rather than a playoff League 1 team.

Probably on £5K a week in wages - not many teams able to pay that in L2.

Signed Rhys Bennett on Friday night, who came on for his debut against Stanley yesterday when we were 2-0 up. We collapsed and it was 2-2 20 minutes later. A shaky start for him, the way we fell apart so quickly was a bit worrying but held onto a point in the end.

A winger due in tomorrow by the sounds of it, which is badly needed. Anything is better than Wes McDonald.

ffs.....you get some decent money for shite
Excellent player Dan Burn. Not surprised to see him play in the Premier League for several years. Decent technically for a tall lad too.

Hopefully Kieffer Moore goes for a decent fee too to get another 1-2m in which would give us a few million to play with in the Summer.

I like Burn too. Great on the left of a back 3. Deceptively quick too for such a big lad. You could end up doing really well on some of these potential sell ons. Can’t see you throwing promotion away now with so many games in hand even with a busy schedule.

The only one we might have a decent chance of a few quid on is Rob Holding. We have a 20% clause on him.

Edit … Bournemouth have had 3.5 accepted for Moore

Dan Burn is a good solid prem player. Great on the left of a 3 atb. I like him. That will be our model over coming years. Fully expect us to end up selling Dapo etc with a sell on

How long is Ironside out for? Didn’t realise he was injured…he was the one I was worried about for tomorrow night. Assume Hoolahan won’t play as he played on Saturday?
