Looks like Nlundulu is done. Loan with an option to buy in the summer. Reports today linking us with Macauley Bonne too after he was released by QPR. Unsure if any truth in that one

I assume you are not being sarcastic, so can you tell us your thoughts on Wright as a player please?
Absolutely not sarcasm, he's class. He has a knack for being in the right place at the right time, things just seem to fall for him. Good finisher, good on the ball, will create chances and score a few. Doesn't have many outstanding physical characteristics - eg he's not that quick or strong - but you don't really notice that when he's playing.

Hope he does well for you, especially now I've bigged him up so much!

Joe White coming in on loan from Newcastle, apparently.

Attacking midfielder who worked with Caldwell previously. Hopefully he’s a good’un.

Also linked with Alfie Kilgour at Bristol Rovers. Seems to have had injuries, so not so convinced.

Had White for half a season here, talented kid, everything you’d expect from a PL U21, decent passer, all the deft touches and flicks, hasn’t got a lick of battle in him, very much a flair player, we killed him by sticking him out wide, just not his position, CM/AM all day.

Must admit, one reservation I had is that he looks like a stiff breeze would blow him over. Good to hear he’s decent player though and we play with three central midfielders, so I’d expect him to push for the more attacking of those 3 spots.

I was too busy watching Congress fail to elect a speaker, can’t multi-task :)okay tell us more. Why signing of the window?
I’ll echo CTFCfan99, but also add that his attitude is top class.

He’s a phenomenal player, one of the best I’ve ever seen in a Cheltenham shirt. If you think Finn Azaz is good, I’ll tell you now, he’s not fit to lace Callum’s boots.

The Lashers don't think Callum Wright is up to the Championship, physically, from what I've seen. Really doesn't say much for their recruitment that they've sold their main cash signing of the summer six months later. No doubt made a loss on him too.

Funny.

I was going to ask you to compare him with Finn, because until his injury I would have taken Azaz over Morgan Whittaker every time. If he is better than Azaz, boy o boy!

Was that the tall black player who played against us a couple of days ago ? If it was, I'm not sure you are correct when saying being in the right place at the right time -- When the ref blew the whistle for taking the knee . He simply sprinted at our defence . Must admit when we all cheered he was laughing his head off.

Osula has gone back to Sheffield United. I feel like he'll be back at this level before the end of the window. He's an handy player, extremely direct, but lacks the technical ability to really kick on. He reminds me a little of Theo Robinson during his time at Derby, feel like he will carve out a fairly reasonable career at this level without ever threatening the higher divisions.

Burton and Oxford have been mentioned in passing.

I've read elsewhere that some don't think he was given a fair chance.

He may not be the biggest, but he's tough. He's never just knocked off the ball.

He's got a screamer in him as well, ask the Tranmere fans about it.

No I'm talking about Callum Wright who we had on loan in 20/21 and 21/22. That's Nlundulu you're thinking of who's off to Bolton, and yeah that was hilarious

We’ve rejected another bid for Harvey Knibbs apparently, and we’re being linked with Frank Nouble haha.

I cant see Anderson dropping to L1 when he has been a regular on Newcastles bench all season. I'd love him back here but id imagine Championship would be the minimum level for him

We are being linked with Randell Williams today. Can he play wing back? What do Exeter fans think of him?

Seriously? I think every other team in the league would take him and some in the league above.
Seriously, I've watched him week in week out since 2015, when he plays, moreso in the last few years we are over reliant on him and far too pedestrian with our play, he's a good player but I think we are far too reliant on him, or more reliant than we should be.

Try to play too much through him rather than as a team? Fair enough that does actually make sense. I’d still take him in a heart beat mind but not on the 250 grand a week he is probably on atm ;) haha

It's a mix, Bannan has to be involved, he amount of set pieces he wastes, he drops deep to get the ball and can be stood on the toes of places tasked to play that role.

The jump in physicality from L1 to the Championship is big across the pitch, and you usually have to have pace about you too, especially in midfield unless you're an absolute baller.

That gulf in terms of athleticism looks even more massive between the Championship and the Prem.

Imagine Shitpool are in panic mode and have no interest in development right now, just raising funds to bring back more proven players to stay up. Plymouth have just took advantage.

Been linked with us and Birmingham.

I heard we decided not to go for him in the summer though because he was too lightweight. Maybe he's bulked up.

Best player I have ever seen at running down the clock by the corner flag, no one can get past him. But it is a bit of a niche, does not offer too much the other 89 minutes. Shame, really nice bloke I hear.

We tried to get him in the summer, and it seems odd that the Seasiders have sold him so quickly. The rumour that keeps swirling around is that Mayor won’t renew in the summer, taking one last big pay day from Wrexham. So the current thought process is that Wright is the long term replacement for Danny.

The standard between League One and the Championship is crazy. League One is a lot poorer than I was anticipating and I didn't have high hopes.

No surprise that players struggling for game time in the Championship can be good players at this level.

He is far from being a lightweight. In fact his upper body strength is one of his best attributes, hardly ever saw him knocked off the ball, which surprised me for a kid playing his first league games
