resigned Matt Macey as backup/competition for Will Norris in Goal. Schofield been woeful in all the cup matches he's played.

Fleetwood sign Harry Boyes on loan from Sheff Utd....who's just been on loan with us.

Odd one, he was decent and we played him a load, so not sure why we got rid. Oh well, good signing for FTFC.

Wellens has said that we're close to signing Brandon Cooper pernamently from Swansea, happy with that solid player for this level.

He has also said we're talking to a few players but we have to ship out before geting anyone in.

Smacks of Fleetwood have offered to pay a bigger percentage of his wages. Can’t imagine in their current state there’s any footballing reasons.

The only thing is, we've just stopped playing 5 at the back with dedicated wing-backs (cos we were shit at it) amd changed to a back 4, so maybe he wanted to be developed as an out-and-out wing-back.

Creativity now I think big key for Carlisle.

I’d said an old head in the defence but depends when Huntington is back.

But they need creativity, it’s not about possession it’s about making chances and Carlisle don’t make enough
I love that Hunts is still going, one of my 3 or 4 PNE legends of the last decade

I wonder if he's holding out for a move to Saudi when his contract is up.

Carlisle, Port Vale and Exeter are all in for Jake Young from Bradford according to Alan Nixon.

Like he’d have to be fucking stupid to come to us over either of those clubs. Unless he has big League Two ambitions.

For the £200k Bradford reportedly want for him either yourselves or Exeter are welcome to him. No way should we be paying that for some guy who has had one decent spell in his entire career.

200k is steep. Probably not worth the risk when you’re comfortable like yourselves, but we’re fucking desperate. I think we’ve had a bid turned down already, whether we value him anywhere near 200k I don’t know.

But he’s only 22 year old. One decent spell in a short career is more than a lot of players have had by that age.

I'm sure you'd be able to offer more.
Whether he wants to go as you've already signed Armstrong and we've signed no one is another matter.

Nixon now says you are favourites, but I don't know the detail as I'm not on his patreon.

It’s pretty much as you say on it with Bradford wanting around £200k. All signs would indicate Carlisle but guess his agent / Bradford lose nothing using Vale and Exeter to extract more money from them. A couple of his other stories this morning indicate Burton circulating Stocktons name around (there’s a move that’s been a total flop) and Fleetwood want Jack Marriott off the wage bill. The latter intrigues me as depending on Fleetwood’s situation off the field might be able to get him for a reduced price.

If Fleetwood are worried about their wage bill, sacking Johnson and bringing in Adam can't have helped. Then getting the Irish lad in..
I'd definitely take Marriott though.

Yeah same. I suspect even if a reduced fee etc to get him off the wage bill it’d prove to be too expensive for us with how cautious we are but most L1 clubs could do a lot worse than ask the question.

He is significantly over-performing compared to his xG (around 50% iirc) in a division below apparently according to somebody who is clued up on such stats on our forum.

Yeah that would end that one. That would probably indicate their JCH deal is dead and he will wait to be a free agent.

Reported by an account that is bollocks. Not saying he won’t end up at Charlton, but that account is the one that said we’re after Jamille Matt.

Sounds like we've had a bid accepted for Will Goodwin. Liked the look of him when he played us earlier this season. Looks like he only played 12 games last season but could hopefully help get even more out of May

Fair play to Charlton. 4 points less than us and played a game more, but still going for it.

Many of our fans have decided season is over already and probably so do the new owners by the lack of any activity

Where have you seen you've had a bid accepted - there's reports you're interested but nothing on bids being accepted.

In any case, Charlton can just fuck off. And then when they're done fucking off, they can fuck off again!!

I think it's more about giving players 6 months to gel before we can try and actually challenge the top 6 next season if possible but think we are still someway off that. Our recruitment the last few seasons has been dreadful so it's nice to sign what looks like some solid players.

It also looks like we are losing Blackett Taylor and Dobson (maybe in the summer though), so we're weakening whilst strengthening.

Can only apologise. Although I'm much happier raiding Cheltenham than when we went through a stage of exclusively signing Swindon players. One of our ITKs has said we've met your valuation for Goodwin so I may have misinterpreted it when saying a bid has been accepted. For context this ITK is usually very reliable
