What sort of wage wass he on at you lot? Think with us he was on £800 a week at the time he was released.

Probably not a great deal as we only signed him just before the season started because he'd scored a few goals in pre-season against the likes of Kidsgrove and we didn't have any other strikers. I expected him to want a pay rise but 600% seems rather extreme.

Leigh was excellent at our place but if he signed for us it would surely signal that Conor Townsend is leaving which would be awful as he's a quality player.

He is slow and very clumsy, did ok at times for us but gave away silly penalties constantlay with us.

If you believe the chairman AJ was asking for a sixfold increase on his salary. Have no idea what he was on at Vale but even a low end L1 wage I'd think was about £600 a week maybe? In which case if this is true then thanks for last season and good luck getting paid but I'm also thankful that won't be with us.

We posted videos on our youtube channel of Duffy/Hussey and their comments on signing for us...nothin on the official site or social media and now those videos have vanished...

Duffy got 8 goals and 12 assists and Hussey 10 assists last season I think...on paper should be good. Duffy was in the L1 team of the year too I think.

Hussey is average at defending but a decent free-kick taker. He just be a wing back or left mid really. Gets caught out/loses concentration. Hopefully we got some money for him though.
