Kaminski looks like he is off to Charlton for 1m. 32 and probably only a year left so that’s pretty good deal for all parties I think

Excellent shot stopper and made some fabulous saves during his time. Was never really helped much by the defence it must be said, but he’s not that commanding and some dodgy kicking

Jake Richards and Harry Lee have both left. No idea where either are going but suspect Jake will go to a Prem academy or championship, and Harry will go to thr National League.

The re-build shows no sign of stopping, Since New year we have totally changed all the management team both on and off the field from Ceo, Dof, Football manager etc.
With all that settled by May attention has turned to on field matters.....We have lost a lot of our older players with Baxter, Jones, Santos released and Charles and Collins sold......As it stands we have only one player at the club who is 30 that being Josh Sheehan.....We have brought five players in all 25 and under and all over six feet.
Today we signed nine Eighteen year olds on two year pro deals....The mainstay of our double winning youth team from last season, four played in the first team in the last month of the season due to our injury list.
We have three bids in for three more unproven under 25 year olds.......Schumacher is certainly being backed by the club, but i doubt we will trouble the top this coming season with a very unexperienced squad but i will settle for the club being built up like this and i think the club is putting the right building blocks in for a solid future.

PS Denzel Jake Richards is the type of player we are seeking

I dont think Jake left to join another League One club. No disrespect.

You seem to be recruiting well, though there is no stand out side unlike last season.

Will be interesting how it does

This looks promising, think a lot of Bolton fans will be very disappointed if we do not trouble the top as Masi believes.

WANDERERS have agreed a fee with IFK Norrköping to sign midfielder Jesper Ceesay.

It is understood that Bolton are due to pay around £350,000 to buy the 23-year-old out of the last six months of his contract with the Allsvenskan club.

Reports in Sweden claim Ceesay has yet to agree personal terms but IFK Norrköping's sports director Magni Fannberg confirms to Sportbladet: “Jesper has wanted to make a move abroad for a while and it is true that we have agreed with a club, I will not comment on which one it is.”

We are apparently in talks with Rangers about selling them Aasgaard.

Rumours on the incoming front pretty sparse. Think we are off to Slovenia end of the week and surely you want your core recruitment work done prior to your pre-season camp? At this point the core work is still ahead of us and a hefty chunk who might be going on the trip wont be here (if they have turned up for pre-season at all)

Like last summer, the vibes are just not good right now.

I think our signings could go either way......Nobody has a clue are they good enough for league one.....Saying that they could be a level above lge1
I think we dont have not enough goals as yet in the squad
One thing for certain, teams will no longer shithouse and bully us............Schumacher is building a team of Giants with power and pace
If they connect we could piss the league, but again they may flop and we could finish bottom half.......Will know better once pre -season games start

We go to Slovenia every year, Nathan Jones started it in L2. It’s a purpose built training complex for teams to do pre season stuff and also team building etc. Usually play a few other teams who are also there as behind closed doors games, this year it’s Dinamo Zagreb

We have been slow starters even under Jones so arguably its never worked actually. Last year was a disaster, multiple injuries picked up and most of the players we ended up signing werent there as we signed so late.

Seems we are repeating the same mistakes.

Looks like Huddersfield are signing Jack Whatmough from us. Too slow to be a regular in the Championship but he's not terrible, pretty solid in most aspects.

Seemed like he was a stand out CB at this level for Pompey & Wigan.

We’ve sold Bim Pepple too Plymouth for an undisclosed fee. This time last year in pre season he looked absolutely dreadful in our under-21 side but he’s had a good loan at Southend and then seems to have done ok at Chesterfield second half of the season.

JCH has left the club by mutual consent (we must have paid him off).
A sad end to his second spell here, in which he achieved about as much as his first spell, nowt!

There's no denying his goal scoring record for Bristol Rovers and Peterborough but in all honesty he has been pretty shite for us both times, apart from an odd worldy.

I've met him and he comes across as a nice bloke and I'm sure he genuinely wanted to do well, bur he's cost us a fortune and delivered not a lot over 2 spells.

I assume now there will be no transfer fee he will be able to find a new home, or at least a new old home. Hopefully not in this league as I'm sure he would have rubbed salt in the wounds and got a hat-trick against our no doubt shoddy defence this season

Would expect he’ll find himself back at Bristol Rovers. Remember they were close to bringing him in a couple of seasons ago as Darragh MacAnthony who has never come across a camera he doesn’t want to stick his face in front of giving a running commentary on it on SSN and Talksport.

Seems like quite a few players dont seem to quite perform for you, wonder what the common factor could be..

Since the last promotion in 2022 that's true.

The common denominator being the Chairman has picked 3 underperforming Managers.
SE was poor this time, Leam Richardson was not given much time because his football was boring but the real villain was Taylor.

He trashed the club ethic that Warne had built, brought in old players who had been decent but were now past it and never related to the fans.

We will be in the bottom half this season, Hamshaw has got a real job on his hands to turn the tide with a very poor budget. (SE wasted it all last season)
It's not impossible for us to be relegated in what is our centenary season.

Ethan Galbraith sold to Swansea in a club record sale believed to be upwards of £2,000,000. Michael Craig brought in from Reading to play that inverted fullback role.

Idris El Mizouni back for a club record fee (previously £300,000 for Liam Kelly) on a three year deal. Busy old day.

I think I need to update the worst case scenario list after the last week of events...

-Mark McGuinness: should in my opinion, be the new captain. Can definitely do a job for a top 10 Championship side. It would need to be a monster offer for us to sell, because we've probably already invested £6M in him.
-Millenic Alli: really came into his own in the last 2 months of the season. Going to cost £4M for someone to sign him as we bought him for about £1.5M in January.
-Thelo Aasgaard: the Norway manager has been meddling, trying to unsettle him. The kid is rightly so desperate to go to the World Cup. Again, he's going to be £5M absolute minimum. He hasn't hit his peak yet - his ceiling is not the Championship. In orange, because whilst it is not confirmed, it will probably happen this weekend. There is a report in the Daily Record that Luton may only break even on what they paid in January - that would be infuriating.
-Elijah Adebayo: I saw something earlier that Trabzonspor are in for him - he has done his ACL and I'd be surprised if he plays in 2025 again. Very unpredictable player, has a PL hattrick but missed 25+ key chances last year. Not a clue what his value is, but 12 months ago I'd have said £30M.
-Carlton Morris: Already gone.
-Teden Mengi: Hasn't wanted to be at Luton for 12 months. On the verge of the England U21 squad - his ceiling is lower end PL. His agents have tried to force through several moves. Hasn't emerged in any of the pre-season pics.
-Lamine Fanne: Started coming into his own at the end of the season. Looks very raw and I'm still not sure about him. La Liga teams were supposedly in for him a couple of months ago.
-Isaiah Jones: Confidence player, but played a big part in our upturn in form last season. Apparently cost us £5M in January - will need to be matched for him to move.
-Christ Makosso: For me, his ceiling is also PL. He has all the attributes - pace, height and can battle. Still learning.
-Alfie Doughty: Didn't hit the heights of the PL season, but he has been so crucial for the way we've played for 3 years. Would be a huge, but expected loss. I'd like to get at least £8M for him, but probably a third of what he'd have cost a year ago.
-Daiki Hashioka - whilst not originally on this list, we signed him in the PL and is a Japanese international. He signed for Slavia Prague this week.

On Aribim Pepple - someone paid actually GB Sterling for him?

We are now 2 weeks into pre-season and the team will fly to Ljubljana tomorrow. We have signed one new player as Naismith was already on loan last season. We need to start pulling our finger out. We're rougly minus 7 in terms of permanent transfers vs. incomings.

It’s like last season so far with the additional twist that last summer we held onto what we had rather than this where we are trimming the squad without replacement. It needed to happen but really hoped we would be far more aggressive early. I think clearly we have an issue with the recruitment team that needs addressing

Reece Burke is apparently going to be our latest outgoing in our fire sale. Going to Charlton to link up with Jones again.

Very good player but just can’t keep consistently fit. If he did then he’d be a top end championship player

Hope he gets a go as form the little I’ve read he sounds quite promising. We don’t particularly have a great record of bringing signings like this through however - Taylor, Pepple, McAtee, Mendes Gomes et al falling into that category

Two wingers brought in the last 24 hours....Thierry Gale from Rapid Vienna 4 year contract 500k. Followed this morning with Amario Cozier-Duberry on loan from Brighton was at Blackburn last season.
Thats 7 in and only 6 out, Schumacher has said we will have a smaller squad than last season so i expect another three or four going out soon.

Aasgaard gone to Glasgow rangers 3.5 mil
Grand total of £0 profit in 6 months of putting him in the shop window. The fee may rise with achievements to £5m.

I still find this terrible business. Wigan get nothing (yet) either.
