You've got to laugh at the irony of the Sky Sports lads. I had some Liverpool supporting colleagues doing everything they could to get to Paris for the Champions League final, yet for some reason had struggled to get to Anfield for 25 years.

After 6 round of games and each team playing three away games ( except Carlisle) here is my estimation of away followings. There are a few estimates but it gives a good indication.
Note Bradford City have been disadvantaged due to limited tickets at Barrow and Hartlepool.

With Mansfield sold out for next week, it’ll bring our average to 880. First four away games, three sold out and still an average of less than 900. This is what I meant by how shit the allocations are in this league.

Our next three away games will sell out (barring Tranmere on Tues night). We have Harrogate, Salford and Grimsby.

With the likes of Rochdale, Stockport and Doncaster yet to come, we should comfortably average 1,200+

Then Colchester away with no trains, but admittedly that will affect everyone. Salford and Stockport the next two after that though so we'll get the numbers back up. I think we'll see a fair few of the London Mariners at Newport mind, it's only an hour and a half on the train. I reckon 6/700 today. Pay on the day will help.

I think those are about par compared to last season. I can't recall us ever taking more than about 350 to Newport. It was circa 500 to Torquay last season - but a weekend in Torquay in August compared to a weekend in Newport...
