I think those are about par compared to last season. I can't recall us ever taking more than about 350 to Newport. It was circa 500 to Torquay last season - but a weekend in Torquay in August compared to a weekend in Newport...
Torquay away last year was my first match back after COVID, proper class away trip that. Has gone under the radar as one of the best atmospheres in a Town away end.

Also not sure why we've been brought into it or if people are serious about the Stags following but anything over 2500+ at this level is bonkers good, glad to see you got the win. Top fans, consistently good numbers to BP too. Take note Notts and Lincoln.

We haven't had this feel good factor in League 2 in forever, not even 2016. Decent numbers of course but like I said, a bit under what I would expect from our consistently decent following, if everything was equal. Because I don't think you're suggesting that those 2 factors aren't affecting our away followings? We took the same numbers to Altrincham last season on a Tuesday night as we did to Rochdale. Having invested in a season ticket + fuel costs + utility costs, i'll definitely be rationing my away trips this season. I'd have been at Walsall and Rochdale in seasons gone by but didn't go to either (also because of health but I wouldn't have gone anyway)

Nice to see Northstandexile using GY…

I remember referring to us as GY a while back and someone saying what the feck is this GY thing…

Well you can get pissed! All you could hear Saturday night was Mansfield fans in the town centre.

I can imagine so.

I was in sheffield until about 10, was a quality day out.

With Mansfield sold out for next week, it’ll bring our average to 880. First four away games, three sold out and still an average of less than 900. This is what I meant by how shit the allocations are in this league.

Our next three away games will sell out (barring Tranmere on Tues night). We have Harrogate, Salford and Grimsby.

With the likes of Rochdale, Stockport and Doncaster yet to come, we should comfortably average 1,200+
How many are you likely to bring to the midweek game in Birkenhead?

Think we’d sold 600 last week! A decent performance at the weekend against Mansfield and a 1,000+ will travel. We fetched 900 last season on a Tues night when we couldn’t string 2 passes together.

For the first time in 3 seasons we've sold out an away allocation. Sold all 1,200 tickets for Wimbledon on Saturday.

A combination of us being on good form and this being a new ground have led to the sell out.

Would've taken more to Colchester 2 weeks ago had it not been for the rail strikes.

All this selling out nonsense is very un-Orient. Good job it’s Rochdale, Barrow, Doncaster and Carlisle up afterwards so the SuperFans can get back to enjoying the ‘usual faces’ in sub-300 followings.

A paltry total of just 523 visiting fans through the Prenton Park turnstiles for our league games thus far this season.
With a little over 16000 home fans in attendance for those fixtures. The cost of lockdown crisis is really hitting us hard.

It’s crazy how different outcomes can be in similar circumstances.

X2 Pre-season friendly attracted: 8,240

X3 cup fixtures attracted: 19,307

X4 league games attracted: 69,046

Total: 96,593

Average away attendance is inflated by Doncaster’s following on the opening day, but we’re still averaging 2,000+ walk up on match day.

Thankfully for Tranmere, you’ve got County and us visiting next. That should bump those numbers up a bit.

How many no shows are you averaging in your season ticket holders?

We've only had 2 home league games but the no shows have been surprisingly high - for the opening game it was about 450, for Sutton it was 700. We have 1,400 seats left for home walk ups - sold out for the opener and about 1,100 sold for Sutton. The latter would have been our lowest walk up sales of the season last year.

Do BCFC have a system for STHs to release their seat if they can't attend and do they pay anything back to the STH? We've started a system but not many have been released back so far - there's no payback at the moment but I understand GTFC are looking at it.

I think a lot of people from outside of GY who probably only get back for half/less than half the home matches bought STs. I did 15 away last season, but only got to BP twice and I was ridiculously close to buying a ST ticket because I was worried about not being able to get away tickets this season. In the end I've just opted to risk it with 1878 and trust memberships. It seemed like an unnecessary expense for the seat to be empty or re-sold most weeks but I know a few who bought STs that live down in London so I reckon there'll be a fair few.

I wouldn’t know, but judging by naked eye, not many no shows at all.

Stands have looked full every game - barring NW corner, which is sparse at the best of time.

We wouldn’t need a system whereby seats could be released if supporters cannot attend. Ground holds 25,136, and we average around 17,000. Plenty to go around.

We've sold out of whatever Tranmere gave us for Tuesday night. Think it was around the 1k mark

950 I think - POTD and we should fetch 1,200+

Harrogate in 3 weeks sold out - another piss poor allocation - 600

85 Sutton at Swindon a total nonsense figure for the 2nd consecutive year, where’s the tinpot thread.

Decent effort that.

On a side note, the top end of the Conference has seen some ridiculous followings again so far this season. Wrexham sold out a 2300 allocation for Oldham in an hour!

I sort of expect that from Wrexham, tbh. They haven’t played each other since 2005, not forgetting, it’s only 65 mile away.

Still a very good following.
