I wouldn’t have thought there would be any bovver between us and the mighty Harrogate, but there could be 20,000 there. I’m guessing they’ll be 22,000 at Huddersfield and Fax will pull some decent numbers, too - I don’t think it’s all down to away opposition/numbers.

That being said, 1,200 at Fax is a shite allocation. Sure we took over 4,500 there in 2014, so they are ‘good for it’.

I doubt Halifax will pull 3000 home fans. If it's the case that WYP feel they'll be stretched across all games then they should limit all the away allocations accordingly, not just ours under some bollox pretense that we're trouble. We should be taking 3k plus to this one and their fans seem pretty annoyed too in fairness. Are Leeds, Hudders and Bratfud ever at home on the same day?

3,000, I thought they were already averaging around that - I’m obviously wrong.
Roll back not so long ago, ourselves and Leeds never played at home on the same day. Leeds and Huddersfield, yes. Recently, even though all three clubs significantly average much higher numbers than say, 10 years ago, all three clubs sometimes play at home on the same day. Albeit, not often since Leeds were promoted back to the Prem - SKY tell them when they play, not WYP.

Some posters seem to assume that all away supporters actually travel from that particular town, whereas that is far from true. I am an example of that, and regularly meet up with people from all over the country at our away games.

Yeah that's fair enough. We have a fair amount of exiles dotted around the country so have always been well represented as a ratio to our home support. Even more so when every away game in the National League apart from Hartlepool was pretty much in London.

A bit misleading that as that average is swelled by the Wrexham attendance which included 1200 Wrexham fans, this is their list of home attendances.
So take away the 1200 Wrexham fans and they are averaging under 1900 (haven’t included the Pontefract game which was FA Cup) and even that is not taking into account the combined away fans from the other 8 games played so home fans average will be even lower.
