Where did you see/hear that figure as it was annouced as 1508 on the day and I can't see anything different reported anywhere.

1608 would make more sense though as we'd sold around 1500 tickets and I know a lot of people paid on the day.

A piece of paper with the attendance on was passed to me in the press box and I could have sworn it said 1,608. Looks like I was wrong though as everyone else has reported 1,508.

Do you get a piece of paper in the press box to explain this week's Grimsby Town formation?

But hey we won and it wasn't even our best team...

I can't believe they supposedly outnumbered us 2 to 1.

On the subject of rubbish stewarding, I'm heading to Mansfield on Easter Monday - have they changed since the NL days?

They've been alright of late - it depends if the away fans cause trouble.

There's nothing for us to play for now, so it'll be like a pre-season friendly.

Even if up the road, that's not a bad effort for us with nothing to play for.

Great effort for county, also with nothing to play for

Nothing to play for? We can still get into the playoffs and speaking to whitman and shaq they both really want a playoff medal.

I want to win the lottery, doesn't mean it's going to happen ;)

Is this the first time Stanley have took more to an away game than Carlisle on the same day.

Is that stanleys highest ever away attendance?
Yes - I think the previous was around 850 at places such as Bury and Chester in our first League season. We took about 700 to West Ham earlier this season.
There are fewer better away trips to have on Easter weekend than Blackpool, together with the fact we've never played them there in a competitive match and our recent good form encouraged a lot to jump on the train

Helped by Burnley not having a game today?

I saw a couple of people with Burnley, Blackburn and even PNE (brave thing to do in Blackpool) scarves on so a huge help.
Newport away next weekend so we'll be back to away crowds of 75

Think there was a good amount raised from the bucket collections today.

Hope so, mate. Sure LOFT will announce the figure soon. Spurs are having a collection tomorrow, which will hopefully raise a few quid.

I know O's fans have helped out other clubs in the past, but the response from the wider football family has been humbling. It won't be forgotten.

I lived in Padiham for a while in the late 80s - Burnley fans seemed to have a soft spot for Stanley.

According to yesterday's Wycombe programme the visiting Hartlepool fans numbered 130 for the game in November at Adams Park.
This was one of the missing away attendances that didn't appear at the time.
