1625 Stockport, I'm presuming they could have brought 3300 which the away end holds , if so poor that for a team at top, its only 3 stops on the train.
If there'd actually been any trains, sure

Strike-a-light ! Bradford secure week's best attendance despite their home match played on a Tuesday night.
Well done Bradford. :2thumb:

Very little change in the away standings, Stockport closing on Notts and Bradford City falling away

We've sold just over 600 for Notts County away in a couple of weeks - pretty good considering it's a Friday night game and we're shit.

Probably because most of our prospective fan base supports Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool and Man U.:hb:

We know how you feel.

Ours are all wannabe West Ham, Spurs, Arsenal, Chelsea, Palace, Millwall or Charlton.

West Ham a biggy once they moved to a 50k stadium and sold s/t’s at 2 a dime to fill it.

It doesn't count really, but who's boasting bigger down here in the past few years? Get those willies waving...

Only 70 miles. It’s like us playing at Hillsborough, we’d take 7k there for a 4th round game. Any road, Fans x miles to Soton on a Wednesday night last season beats that.

I was hoping for Blackburn in the QF - we’d have had half a chance against them, we never had a hope at Brighton.

Aye we had wednesday in the cup last year and sold the 4,000 they gave us in no time, we didn’t get any more - you’re right with what you say.

Dress it up however you want, that's an obscene following from Wrexham. We'd all be running around with our willies in our hands with a 7k+ following regardless of distance. Fair play, shame you got knocked out. Nice to go ahead at least, as opposed to your goal coming when you were 4-0 down.

It’s a great following of course, you’re going to get that with away teams taking as many as they can in those games - like you say better to get the goal first than as a consolation.

Never 16k. More like 6k.
Checked BCFCs website but found no attendance number.
However official SKY attendance figures offer higher attendance which is what I used.
I suspect you are more right than SKY but .................

Was this morning listening to Radio 4 news when on the sport section they spoke impressively about the away attendance at match. Said it was excellent and that the visitors loudly cheered (out-sang the home supporters) their team throughout the game as if it were the Cup Final.
After the WBA fiasco it is lovely to hear a good news report about football fans.

Just a shame with the build up to the game. We left Wxm at 4.15 for what is typically just over an hour. Club buses all left at the same time (about 18 of them), all stuck on the A483 to Chester, then slow moving traffic on the M56, roadworks on the M6 north and then getting off the M65 slip road for Blackburn was gridlock, al the way till 7 when we got there. By the time I started queueing I somehow managed to get in with 10 mins to go, but the lack of co-ordination from stewards etc meant that hundreds were watching the match outside the ground.

It was carnage in the lower bit and the stewards just gave up bothering to direct people in the end, I saw a few tailgating others in and some getting waved through even though their tickets weren't scanning.

Good support - but it’s only what I’d expect you to sell!

Our last decent season at this level we fetched 5,100 to Wigan (Tues) and 7,000 to Villa (Wed) and took 62,000 to Wembley in the space of 3 months.

Allocation of 7400.
Attendance of 7338.
Therefore I’ve decided that it must mean you didn’t sell it out.
Get it in the tinpot thread please Chief.

The 64 difference was the number of players they’re waiting to announce tomorrow/thursday.

Just seen Salford announcing a home sell out v Wrexham. Surely that’s Wrexham buying in the home ends? They didn’t even sell out for Stockport in the play offs did they?
