Tonight’s away followings

1,206 Gillingham at Wimbledon
544 Mansfield at Tranmere
306 Notts Co at Crawley
260 Harrogate at Wrexham
153 MK Dons at Grimsby
140 Barrow at Walsall
91 Forest Green at Bradford
82 Sutton at Crewe
74 Accrington at Swindon
67 Morecambe at Newport
I take it some teams that were at home last night would take more away ?

Fans in the away end? We’ve had more stewards than away supporters in there recently.

We no longer give attendances out on Tuesday nights because we're only getting about 7-8k.
The rugby franchise at Coventry (called themselves Wasps but Wasps is a London club) continued to give out “ attendances” right to the end (they went bust) but they were hilarious - 10-12k when there were about 3k in a 32k capacity stadium. I don’t know what the players thought - they must have know their gravy train was coming to an end but to be fair they did continue to give 100%. That’s rugby I guess, if you are not committed you get hurt.

The whole practice is getting more and more ridiculous though. I was watching highlights the other day and Vicarage Road for a Tuesday night game was looking particularly empty - I checked the “attendance” and it was given as 16.5k - it looked more like your recent night game attendances.

Are the sponsors and commercial partners that stupid that take these numbers as exposure for their advertising and sponsorship. Surely not, therefore what is the point?

More than likely, yes. The attendance at Saturday games is really poor too.

Crawley website say attendance last night as

Attendance: 2,542 (367 away)

And not 306 county fans

Yeah us, Bradford, Wrexham, Walsall, Crewe and Swindon for sure would/have take/taken more to the respective reverse fixtures. Not sure about Morecambe at Newport, the others no though. Perhaps if Tranmere are having a good season they'd take more to Stags.

Sold out initial allocation for MK. I think they only sent us 460 tickets though. I doubt they will send anymore before the game so it will probably be pay on the day for the rest. Probably 650-750 be there come Saturday.

Not much change in the standings with Notts Co, Barrow and FGR slipping a place.
Stockport should hang on to their second place after this comings Thursday's game at Salford.
If they don't then they are really tin pot.

We took more to Walsall than they brought to Barrow on a Tuesday night.

Mansfield took nearly three times (544 to 187) to Tranmere than they bought to us, both games on a Tuesday night.

I think roles reversed we would probably take about 600-700 to you (think last few visits early in the season have been between 500 and 600 from us). We both should be taking 1,000+ to each other really but we're both pants clearly :)

We’ve given half the north stand to home fans for the remainder of the season allowing for another 600 stags fans in.

However, that’ll limit away to 600 or so also, not a problem for FG, sutton, colchester, or crawley but might cause a few issues for gillingham fans towards the end of the season if they’re still knocking around the playoffs.

Can we actually limit them that much?

There’s 1800 seats in the North Stand, a full allocation is usually 1727 or something like that with the front two rows not available but obviously due to the netting required if it’s being shared it’s a tad under 600 each.

Yeah i’ll be around 600 or so imagine.

Wrexham and stockport have been doing it all season with bigger grounds so no reason we can’t.

In fairness, before we got the temp stand, we can only give 1165 at the absolute max, which is roughly 10% of the capacity.

Since the temp stand was opened, we cant give out any more due to safety/segregation, and we always sell out home games.

Shame, as i'd love to see a full away end behind the goal as it was years ago.

Yeah like I said, would be closer if Tranmere were having a decent season. Stags would probably still take more though if they were too. The Eastern lot North of Brum in this division tend to travel better to the West than vice versa.

Don't think you can if the opposition want the tickets.

They’ve already been put on sale, so we can.

I assume there’s got to be way round it.

Pretty sure Gillingham must have agreed to the allocation in that case.

We might have contacted them and said you pay for the whole stand or that’s all you’re getting

I’m hoping gillingham will be the last home game of the season!

Yeah seems odd that Gillingham would agree to 600 away tickets when there is potentially gonna be something riding on it.

I reckon with 2500 odd at Bradford tomorrow, a likely big MK following, Wrexham sold out then whatever Barrow give us we will see a late Stags surge up the table.

Sold our initial 1000 for Morecambe away on 1st April, got an extra 300 yesterday and and extra 125 this morning, they've gone already and in the process of trying to get more.
Eventually we got an extra 200 which went on sale at 10am this morning, taking the total to 1625. As expected they didn't last long. Can't see Morecambe giving us any more though.

No pay on the day tomorrow, so a max total of 2,495 potentially going to bradford tomorrow.
