Typical. The season for Hartlepool we all dreamed of, and there's a Crawley and a Rochdale to cock it up.

I think Crawley are doomed! and i also think Rochdale have enough about them to get themselves to safety, and with 12 games to go it could be anyone from Walsall down to join Crawley in the worlderness.

I would imagine that a mid-table finish and a fantastic cup run would've been more or less what you'd have taken pre-season? That surplus money going into the squad next season can certainly push you on a little bit, I imagine you'd be able to strengthen nicely.

Mid table finish was what we would have taken pre season anyway, the cup run is just a massive bonus on top, and should set us up to push for the play offs sooner than expected.

Rumour is There was an approach to buy the club before the Carlisle game and it was turned down flat.

Rumour is Rumour is Rumour but the money man is said to be the person who was previously involved in the club and has extensive 'assets' in the far east.

If I were a betting man I would reckon on a double relegation.
