Not sure who should be most ashamed, Carlisle for losing from being 1-0 up, or Yeovil for being the first side to fail to score against us!!

I mean really, they should both be relegated for either reason. There you go, season done.

I’m not having this the better team lost rubbish. Artell and some of our fans come out with. Better teams are clinical, better teams score goals and better teams find a way to stop the opposition from scoring. We very rarely do any of these.

A massive opportunity missed, Crawley were in poor form, just gone extra time in midweek and missing their top scorer. A better team wouldn’t be losing that game by 3 goals.

Totally agree. The excuses are boring, just as they quickly got boring under Davis. When you hear the same things week in week out, you just tune it out.

Can't wait to see how hilariously low the attendance will be on Tuesday, be lucky to break 2,500 including away fans. With a break between that game and the Oldham game, Artell best pray for a result on Tuesday. We also ideally need 4 points from these next 2, because the schedule after that up until early February is grim. 9 out of 10 opponents from teams in the top half. Oh dear.

Also missing central defender Connelly and midfielder Filipe Morais - watching Crewe was like watching us In the last few matches - plenty of opportunities to score but failed to beat the keeper or off target - yesterday was a surprise as we scored without Ollie Palmer on the pitch - difficult match against Mansfield on Tuesday evening but we will have Palmer back if selected -

Palmer is certain to score against us.

Didn’t you randomly do that last season too. Get the odd hammering in. If your manager could lock in those performances you’d be in business!

Strange season this, Crewe won 6-0 and lost 6-0
Within a few weeks. We lost 6-2 then went 7 hours without conceding.

Tyrone Barnett has even started scoring goals! Whatever next! (This is where it turns out we didn’t put a clause in preventing him facing Vale in a few weeks).

Yeah, Way gets lucky with a few results then lives off them for as long as possible.

Quite a few staggies fearing a bit of a surprise result tonight, due to a few important players being sick and the non-stop game schedule recently.

I’m going to go for the usual 1-1 draw with Ollie Palmer scoring a 35 yard belter for Crawley.

I think it's the final hurdle then we've got 10 days off in the league after this- get off to a fast start and get the early goal and happy days.

Could be one of those 2/3/4-0 games or a dodgy 1-1 or 0-1

Blundell Park or whatever it’s called now hasn’t been the happiest of hunting grounds for Rovers, though we drew in our last NL fixture there. A bit surprised at the team selection for Oldham and Micky’s limited use of subs. The fact we were playing for the draw in the end gives some clue as to our realistic ambitions. Don’t know how this will pan out, or if we’ll change the starting xi, but I’d settle for a point.

We're away at Bury tonight. There's a bit of confidence in the team at the moment, 7 games unbeaten, 4 wins in a row, 1 goal conceded in the last 5.

That being said, I don't expect much tonight, Bury seem to be in form themselves so we'll have to be at our absolute best to get anything.

Appetising fixture home to Stevenage - who cancelled their supporters coach cos they had only sold 3 tickets.

Generally dreadful home performances don’t fill me with much hope - we haven’t managed back to back wins since January and are hopeless in midweek games.

I’m staying home for sure.

The weather forecast put the nail in any thoughts I had of trekking up to Gresty Road. I'll be glued to Jonno and Doug on the radio (with a weather eye on Radio Cumbria on the laptop). Hope it's on for any U's that are making the effort. I could think of worse opposition than Crewe to face away from home after saturday's battling effort.

Lewis and Carroll will be out through suspension. Otherwise only Corr unavailable and Halliday should be back for Little Leon. We'll miss Lewis's newly recognised positivity, goal threat and height from midfield but Dunk (or Taylor/John) should be adequate cover and improve on Carroll defensively. O'Neil might even be inspired by the competition to score a goal at last.

I reckon we might score 1 or 2 and hope we'll have the steel to avoid conceding more than 1 or 2 - so 0 - 0 in the pouring rain then?

Our only (proper) home match before Xmas is Yeovil on 15/12. I'll probably be giving the Tranmere trip a miss in a couple of weeks. So, to get my ration of live football, I'll be supporting the Bluebirds in the Quag End on Saturday - re-living the joys and memories of Braintree away over Xmas/New Year.

Got a feeling we’ll be happy with a draw when we see our team sheet announced. Likely to be without Banks, Cole and Norwood which is pretty much all our creativity.

Hope I’m wrong on the above and they’re actually fully fit and we play 4-2-3-1. Very strong team then.

Just leaving now for this. A goal in it either way.
If I didn't come, would take 2.5-3.5% of our support.

Don’t tell Grimsby fans that we had the hoses on.

Our match off tonight but we have loads of injuries and players who are ill

Woeful tactics from Aspin tonight, facing a team out of form who’ve been beaten at home to a National North side so we set up with four centre halves and a holding midfielder with Pope alone up front.

Woeful. Well done on your three points Yeovil. Aspin lost the plot yet again!

I drove through Woodhouse around 5ish and a few roads were literally blocked off due to flooding, but I’m sure our pitch has seen worse rain than that and be playable?

I suppose it’s all about timing it’s been chucking it down around Mansfield for hours now apperantly.

How on Earth Montano starts after his spineless lack of effort on Saturday is incredible.
An absolute garbage negative team .
0-0 at best probably 1-0 Yeovil

Only Banks missing thankfully, though Cole on the bench.

So Banks and Cole are out of starting XI injured but Norwood plays. With our poor away record and Grimsby seemingly improving, I'd take a draw.

Lose tonight, and Aspin is under pressure. Dreadfully negative again. Please prove me wrong.

Has to be, tonight screams for Pope and Whitfield.

Issue we have with that team who gets to support Pope?

You won’t lose at least as we will have no one within 40 yards of Pope all evening, you’ll need to concede a rare stunner like last season to lose this.
