I would say that the current top 7 teams of..

Newport
Cambridge
Forest Green
Exeter
Carlisle
Cheltenham
Port Vale

Are a group of teams who I would call the 'elite' of this division who I believe over the course of the season can't be touched by any others lower down the table, much like the Premier League's big six.

The 4 teams to go up will only be out of those top 7.

Some of those 7 wont see the season out if fans are not allowed in. Makes your Elite laughable

A derby to me is a game played between two teams from the same city or town. If its against a city or a town nearby it is simply a local game.
Most ridiculous comment ever

You obviously don't understand. Its all about who is the top dogs in the Town/City and the passion that goes with it. Anything else is purely local. A derby is not about 2 games a season but something that is happening every day. It is something experianced by neighbours / different areas in the confines of a Town / City. Until you have lived in a two team Town/City it is hard to imagine what real rivalry is like. Pure hatred.

I was watching the goals at Barrow and is that some sort of club hose behind one of the goals?

Presume you cannot watch the game from there if drinking?

It's got the changing rooms and shop on the bottom floor and bar upstairs (though that's apparently a changing room at the moment cos of covid). I think the curtains usually get closed at kick off so you can't see the match! Bit of an eyesore but it's too expensive to knock it down.

The changing rooms should move to under the main stand at some point this season.

Really? I suspect you’re posting this to get a reaction, rather than out of genuine belief. Mansfield, Salford and arguably ourselves have strong enough squads to be in contention, if the managerial changes work out.

City Vs Argyle is much spicier than Rovers V City.

I think you have posted this to get a reaction....your squad is awful your big money players like Mansfield and some of ours .....just have not performed this season.

We will have Doyle,Miller, Isgrove,Gilks and Gethin Jones available in the next league game or so....add that Darcy is at last getting time on the pitch...I dont see any other team in this league missing that quality of players.....who have Mansfield and Tranmere to bring in that will improve them.

When was the last time you 2 met?
The football teams met a couple of years a go when there was trouble all around South Bristol. The fans clash most weeks in pubs, clubs and other places. It was a very regular occurance on sunday nights a few years ago that skirmish's were organised in and around Bristol. Temple Meads on a saturday is best avoided as well.

Having spent a fair amount of time in Bristol I think you're massively over exaggerating.
The only problems I've ever seen have been with the junkies down in the bear pit.

Couple of fixture changes for Vale... Scunthorpe game at home postponed last Tuesday now next Tuesday and our Tuesday 2nd Dec fixture at home to Orient now moved to second round day 28-11 as we are both out which makes sense to be fair!

As we are still under an Embargo our local reporter looked into this he says there are more than 20 other clubs in the EFL who are currently under embargoes due to money owed to HMRC.
The EFL are currently looking at dropping the embargo sanctions against teams for owing money to HMRC though.

That is probably a good thing right now when there is little income for clubs but I would like to see it reinstated if and when things are back to normal as I don't actually condone the way Ron runs our club using HMRC as an overdraft facility and removing sanctions would surely just tempt more clubs to doing it.

We are one of the clubs currently under said embargo....It hit us hard and the quality of player we are allowed to sign plus numbers have been the main reason we suffered back to back relegations.
We now have good owners who refuse to put the clubs finances at risk. We come out of the embargo in may next year if the EFL write off these embargos.....I would expect my club to take legal action.

Wrexham v Chester not being a derby is a ridiculous conclusion to reach. There’s so much hatred there they won’t even let away fans travel to the away ground unless they get on a bus at the home ground and are escorted by police.

There’s plenty of other big non-city derbies - Newcastle/Sunderland, Southampton/Portsmouth, Cardiff/Swansea, Wolves/West Brom, Derby/Forest, Norwich/Ipswich, Luton/Watford, Blackburn/Preston etc. We consider our rivalry with Peterborough a derby despite the fact we’ve not played each other competitively for 15 years. The history of local hatred is there.

Christ the press even call Real Madrid/Barcelona a derby though I don’t agree with that - I believe locality is important in a derby. I wouldn’t say Arsenal/Man U is a derby for example. But it extends to further than just city boundaries clearly.

A true derby has to be same city really anything else is a rivalry.

Our derby with Stoke is massively intense when we meet. If you go for the Crewe game it’s not even a patch on that, playing their U21 in the Paint Pot was ten times more volatile than the so called “A500 derby”.

Crewe fans make more of it but to us it’s down the opposite way of the A500 we are looking to.

One day! Can’t believe it’s been 18 years now since Micky Cummins header pea rolled into the net at the Britannia. Had some good old battles with the lardies we did!

It’s not in Stoke (that’s the opposite end of the city) but is in Stoke on Trent.

Stoke is a town within Stoke on Trent... Port Vale play in the town of Burslem within Stoke on Trent.
