Personally want Torquay to come up, but for geographical balance, don’t want another London team, so hopefully not Bromley. Would prefer Stockport staying down too as we’ve enough moneybags sides in L2 already.

Hartlepool would be my pick of the bunch. Wouldn't normally mind Stockport but they'll hoover up any decent NW talent.

Funny that though, because they were always the first to cry foul of Fleetwood, Fylde and Salford. If you can't beat them, join them I suppose.

Really hope they don't go up. Did enjoy sending them to non league 10 years ago and they can do another 10 years and I won't miss them at all.

No-one likes Bromley. A totally unlikeable club with no real redeeming features (although the draws they got away at Stockport and Torquay were useful).

They’re the last of the playoff teams I want to join us. As a club they need to relearn their place in the pecking order. Which is below Sutton.

I've said similar on the NL forum before but I think this is basically our last chance. The shit will hit the fan if not within a year, two at the very most.

Will we do it? I don't think there's a better footballing side in the division than us. Only Sutton and Torquay gave us proper drubbings but we also beat both of them as well. The rest of them I'd fancy us against, less so Bromley. The football gods don't like us and made it pretty clear again. Our bogey team over the last few years but we are very strong at home this year so we should still be confident. Winning 3 games on the spin will be a stretch mind. We had a blip that stopped our chances of top 3 and an easier ride.

Yeah, I think when you get to 3 or 4 seasons you start turning into part of the furniture.

I dont know much about Bromley apart from they have Ben Williamson upfront who used to be a useful striker for us in leagues 2 and leagues one. I'd probably want torquay to come up as they finished 2nd and got the most points plus it's a great away day.

I would happily take Torquay, not too far an away trip for us and one of the closest for them...we have lost Cheltenham from the West Country mini-league, it would be nice to gain a third new member in addition to Swindon and the Gas.
