We can only hope. Nothing confirmed yet, but we're all hoping he'll be gone, especially after that ridiculous article.

Speak for yourself, I for one hope he stays though the article doesn't give me much hope.

Good game today v Cov. We probably edged it and were stronger second half. Cov keeper made a belting save from Podge to keep em in the game. Good Cov numbers 1,400+ out in the pouring rain.

Thought Newport were superb in the first 20 minutes of the second half. Probably the best save I have seen a Coventry keeper make kept us in it.

I look at today as a point well won rather than two dropped.
This was probably our most difficult away game left for us and I thought we would struggle but we fought hard for the point. It was very important we didn't lose this one so I'm well pleased with today's work.
Move on to a very fresh Yeovil side at the Ricoh monday

Our game at Morecambe has been postponed due to waterlogged pitch. Tinpottery at its finest if you go by Morecambe’s tweets (below). Also shite to postpone it for those of our fans who travelled up there today - it’s about 4-5 hours each way.

On a similar note, Chesterfield put out that "Fans are advised that unless weather conditions worsen significantly, the game will go ahead as planned" and then it was called it off an hour later, after no additional rain or snow in that hour.

There has been additional rain and the snow and ice is quite bad here but I wouldn’t say it was any worse than t was after tweet 1. Sums us up really but it’s definitely not to our advantage. We now have 3 games in game and 3 midweek fixtures to fit in now

I can't even defend this, our non-existant marketing department is a shambles. The game hasn't even been advertised in the town or even outside the ground all week.

Incredible effort from Yeovil today, would have had some pretty nice odds on this happening. Think that's Yeovil definitely safe now even if I think they were before.

It's certainly helping our goal difference which is better than anyone else's below us.

Honestly, that's one jaw dropping result if Yeovil can hold on. Cov shipping in four goals at home is (I think) unheard of.

To put things into perspective, Coventry had the meanest defence before today by quite some margin (eight fewer goals than Accy, the 2nd best defence). And they let in six goals today!!!

Well done Yeovil.

Possibly the worst Coventry performance I have ever seen. That is saying something as a Coventry fan. Our supposedly strong defence made mistake after mistake.

However, Yeovil were fucking brilliant. Every attack they scored. The ball was in our net 7 times today. I think they surprised themself to the extent that they were still trying to time waste at 6-2. The original Yeovil game plan went out the window!

We haven't really been good at any points all season. Many 1-0 close wins against poor sides has put us where we are. A reasonable run of form and many fans, as well as the players, got ahead of themselves.

Good on Yeovil today, probably the best away performance I've ever seen from a team at the Ricoh. Lethal.

We have scored 21% of the goals that Cov have conceded this season. :bl:

The Coventry defence just didn't turn up in the first fifteen minutes, with our first three goals coming directly from mistakes. Our strikers were clinical, which couldn't be said for McNulty and Vincenti (who was hooked after 35 minutes) as they had golden opportunities to get back in the game in the first half but didn't take them.

When they scored early in the second half I was fully expecting us to capitulate as we are prone to doing, but for once we responded. Biamou's wonder goal sparked a bit of a fightback but again we withstood it and ended up getting a couple more goals ourselves.

A fantastic start to our nightmare run in, same again against Luton please!
