The thing is, money is available to pay wages, running costs etc. £300,000 has been lodged by the prospective new owners for such things.

Power has chosen not to pay the bills. He can if he wanted to, but he won’t.

And his cuntiness is coming out for all to see.

Seems just an incredibly spiteful thing for Power to do. Our previous owner was a spiteful c*** too but his was more just in your face. Power seems to be all behind the scenes so it does leave you wondering what sorts of other skeletons in the closet will come to light once he is gone.

We play Swindon first day of the season then Rochdale second game, huge battle between the crisis clubs.

Still found the money to fund a play off winning campaign.
Not that I'm bitter....

Recipe for success: Dont pay your debts, don't pay your rent, screw everyone over.

No we didnt. That money was from nearly a decade ago and a previous owner. The people that have been screwed over are the people of Northampton and the fans. Still to this day an ongoing police investigation involving 100s of people and millions of documents analysed. All the money owed back involving any other debts was paid back immediately. Its the loan that the council mismanaged that remains outstanding currently.

Plus a stand worse off than what we started with. I am bitter about the whole thing, because it should have taken our club to the next level, instead its hovered over us for nearly 10 years and i still have to look at that pathetic shell of a stand.

But lets pretend that 10 million pound funded the signing of the mighty Vadaine Oliver who helped a bankrolled team findits way past an Exeter team that never normally lose in the playoffs.

Plus any loan signings are restricted to transfer windows only, not sure if that’s the case in the Conference anymore.

Not sure on total number allowed but I believe its no more than 5 in a matchday squad.

Yep pretty much that.

Just to add for Gatekeeper can only bring them in apart from emergency loans for keepers during the transfer window and the players do count towards the squad limit allowed unless they are under 21. Apologies if am telling you something already knew there.

Not sure if it has been officially ratified yet but this interview a couple of months back with our chief executive indicated would be limit of 22 but keepers are exempt. Presumably so as the PFA don’t overturn it in court like they did the salary cap.

Not technically a rule, but some clubs loaning their player will put conditions/expectations of how much game time their player gets. Lowe said something earlier this week about it, and it is one of the reasons why he is avoiding loans this season.

What’s the rule regarding match-day programmes? Do clubs have to supply one?

Unless something has changed since the vote 3 or 4 years ago, it's not compulsory anymore but I can't recall anyone not doing one.

That said, I'm not sure whether the vote was to end it being compulsory programmes or just printed ones.

Last season Mansfield, Forest Green and Morecambe didn't do them at all, Carlisle and Crawley did them for a few selected games only and Cambridge and Stevenages was online only. Stevenages has been online only for 2 seasons now and I'd imagine that will continue.

We have apparently been taken over by a couple of random property developers, probably using someone else's money.

Rochdale AFC 1907-2021. RIP.

Lump on for relegation...

well that'll annoy Scunthorpe and Swindon fans - they have already claimed relegation for their own teams this season - and unless all 3 teams go bust you can't ALL go down......

I think we may know one of them. Curran is the fella whose son got a contract, paid for by daddy, and was permanently in the match day squad and actually got fairly regular run outs despite being totally clueless as a footballer. Obviously has links with the departing Lee Power who is trying his hardest to make our club extinct. Also noticed McGreal is being touted as your next manager - another Power connection.

This all may be coincidence but if it looks like a duck, walks like a duck and sounds like a duck . . .

Good news and will be a huge boost for clubs.

Having been at Wembley last Tuesday I’d missed it!

I hope Barrow fans pay attention to the last 10 minutes of this Italy performance if it stays 1-0 because you will get a lot of shithouse football next season.
