Thought Simpson would get it because almost everyone in football hates Joey Barton... but also like you say, both managers have identical records this month but one of Simmo's wins came against Barton. Oh well, I can tell you're just annoyed because you were hoping the curse would help you out.

Anyone excited by our takeover? Didn't think so.

I dont get NFTs (digital photos online that you can own and nobody else can use). Bitcoin and the block chain it's based on is just another currency based on trust (like most currencies these days) not sure how you make money on it other than speculating on price movements.

Until such time as I win the lottery there ain't much I can do either way but anytime I hear phrases such as "reimagine how we do things" and " Shake up the status quo" I start preparing for a redundancy letter.

You're right about that... it's just a currency masquerading as something culturally relevant that helps artists. But of course anyone who cares about art knows that an NFT is not somehow the equivalent of an original, or even a limited edition print. At best it's a bit of a novelty to say that you own the NFT of something like a meme, a photo or a song but selling a few novelties probably isn't really why businesses like this are interested. The work itself is just a digital copy the same as every other digital copy out there and the value only comes from there being an entry on the blockchain, which is exactly like a cryptocurrency.

Shame as it may effect the attendance but could be a promotion party, obviously Mansfield may go up but have to wait 3 hours after full time to find out.

I think the moment they saw the opportunity to indulge in the usual media wankfest over Salford your game was always being selected. A potential Mansfield promotion is an added bonus.

From what I’ve seen the North London Valiants were all coming up for the Saturday and hotels etc booked so that’s not good for them. Not to mention with it being the bank holiday weekend if there’ll be engineering works going into the Monday affecting Newport fans.

Hadn’t even considered that aspect. Suppose it could be seen as a small competitive advantage for both us and Newport even if I think these things are overrated. Unfortunately what Sky want they get and it just so happens this is the rare occasion they have interest in our league.

I guess you could say that but if any games get postponed the option of a match on the Tuesday is there too. We should be looking to win a home game regardless of what anyone else does really.
