Doesn't sound at all good!
The "credible" bit sounds like there might be a recording or some other evidence above someone's word against his.

" Serious and credible"

Must be investigated properly.

I really cannot see this ending well even though my first reaction is disbelief mainly because the obvious pride he places on the togetherness of the group.

His interviews are entertaining but I wouldn't call him a gobshite.
But obviously we don't know what has happened yet.

A well know forum personality (not me) phoned John Yems this morning and it seems he was on the train back from Mansfield ! Not sure of the correct disciplinary procedures in place but suspending him while he's miles from home and having to get a train home seems wrong.

It seems as the the first he knew of anything was the early hours of this morning and he seemed to be unaware of any specific allegation.

Rumours and innuendos fly. Some saying he has to go as you can believe it of him. Some saying it's all untrue and it's a disgruntled player who didn't get a contract etc etc. I've chatted to John a few times over the years and the interview persona doesn't do him justice. He is an engaging, amusing bloke who, if you met down the pub, you'd share a beer a few funny tales. He doesn't seem the type but then again who does?

League 2 team of the season has been announced. Think most of them are reasonable picks. None of our players made it which isn’t totally surprising as the way we’ve played we don’t really rely on one or two standout players as such and it’s more a sum of the parts type job.

Kane Wilson player of the year and Finn Azaz at Newport young player (he was exceptional against us and scored a worldie to win it).

That TOTS is a good shout.

Can make a case for Liam Roberts or Cameron Dawson as the goalkeeper though IMO.

League 2’s finest. Nice to see 3 of ours plus Edwards manager of the year.

See the Guardian article on our promotion says we had the eight biggest budget, which sounds about right and makes the achievement all the more a testament to what RE has got out of this group.

Is that with or without the ecotricity player "sponsorship" money?

You apparently offered Wilson double the salary we did...

Who says? Devon Lad has made me sceptical about in the know posters from down your way.
Not sure about the ins and outs of the budget shenanigans but AFAIK it all shows up in the accounts even if DV puts it in under another name.

Azaz has had a strange career trajectory. Promoted with Cheltenham a year ago on loan from West Brom, joined Villa and loaned out again but back to L2 where he stands out most weeks. Can't help wondering whether if he'd stayed with WBA he'd be ending the season as an established Championship player.

McKirdy...
Who according to the Hartlepool comms believed that he is on loan from Chelsea.

Not convinced Wollacott has been that great this season, not sure if his international performances had any sway in the voting, or however these work.

Its interesting no Vale, Bristol Rovers or Mansfield players in there... probably right from our POV as its been a team effort rather than 1 or 2 outstanding players, if Conlon hadn't been injured then maybe he would have got in for example.

Can't argue the FGR 3 they've been exceptional this season.

Its tough to tell and everyone has a view but you do only see players 2 or 3 times a season max outside your own.

Apart from Belshaw the only other one of ours I think could have been in there is our CB Connor Taylor who, like Belshaw, has been outstanding all season long

He has been great this season. Its only the last 3 or 4 games in which he's let his standards slip somewhat
