Just a little report from out supporters association.

I wonder who we are selling/giving Nadersan to?

Looks as though it's a fight for the last relegation spot.

Apparently no team from 6th to 15th has won more than one league game in their last four (but I’m taking that from twitter and I can’t be arsed to check), so the chasing playoff pack are collectively bang out of form.

Shockingly enough, that’s actually true. No wonder we’re still pissing the league after not scoring for two months.

We were enduring the Manager-of-the-Month Curse. Not sure what everyone else's excuses were

We've had Tranmere and Salford away in our last 4. And our only home game in the last 4 was Stevenage. So focusing on the positives we've only lost once in 4.….

The fact we're 2 points off of the playoffs with goal difference of minus 7, and haven't scored more than twice in a single game since April is indicative of the quality of the division

Gills fans, are we gonna be in the "temporary" uncovered end next week? Surely you're not gonna be treating us like that on Valentine's Day and expecting us to put out at the end of the night?!

Depends how many you bring. We can accommodate a few hundred in the Gordon Road Stand on the side of the pitch, but any more than that and the overspill will be in the open end.

I think there'll be 4-500, think we took 550 to Southend on a Tuesday last season so I reckon it'll be similar. I'd probably rather we were all together in the open stand rather than split up. Not an ideal set up by any means!

If the BMS is open then you can all choose to go in there instead, there's nothing stopping you going between stands. 500+ would be an excellent effort.

I think Colchester brought about 400ish and were all easily homed in the covered side stand, but I guess it depends how well ticket sales go (both home and away). I doubt any following would be split between stands though as it’s harder to steward.

I’m fairly sure the only league game where the open scaffold stand has needed to be used was last weekend with Crawley where we did a pay what you can offer so they bought more than they normally would.

Yeah, I could be overshooting with my estimate there but there's certainly enough of us and our midweek South East ones last season were all over 500 iirc. Bromley was 600ish, Wealdstone 700ish, Southend 550ish.

Ah that explains that unusually large Crawley following, was wondering what that was all about.

Weren't Swindon fans in the scaffold stand? I'm sure I remember seeing our fans behind the goal in that golf course type stand in that god awful game earlier this season.

We got off to too good a start, and have reigned ourselves back as we can't afford to go up.

Is gillinghams “temporary” stand a contender to be worse than our “no stand” down the side of the pitch?

Rumours it might be replaced this summer. Although another rumour says it’s just the top half at the back will be removed and a temporary roof be fitted, until it is all replaced later or we move grounds.

Its the part about 3 up 3 down that interests me! personly i am all for it, it would make it a lot easier to bounce straight back i would also like to see the NL become L3 but thats a personal preferance.

What are everyones thoughts.

Close the door between the great 92 and non-league…..

Seriously, I’m not really in favour of 3up/3down, the current system is bad enough as it is. In my opinion it’s caused issues with traditional non-league clubs pushing on. Since the introduction of a second promotion and relegation spot the National League/Conference has become a place where traditional part-time non-league clubs have been unable to realistically compete in. Sure, every so often you get a side like Sutton who weren’t full-time the season we won the NL, but we are very much the exception.

Short of having a significant financial backer, the pathway to a club progressing is becoming more impossible.

Eventually with 3 clubs coming down 3 promotion places will inevitably and eventually be declared not enough. Long-term we’ll probably never have enough promotion spots to meet the demand of clubs in the NL who think they should be in the EFL.

Saying that 3up/3down is inevitable
