Simple, who do you think has been the manager of the season?

Is it Hasselbaink, who pushed Burton Albion on to win the title? Or is it Ainsworth who 'against all odds' transformed Wycombe into a top 5 side following their Great Escape last season, and narrowly missing out on automatic promotion to League 1?

Flitcroft got Bury promoted to League 1 also, albeit with a larger budget than Chelsea and Man City combined.

Or if you're looking at it from a different perspective, does Ronnie Moore's miracle work warrant this prestigious award? Or perhaps Keith Curle deserves some recognition for his transformation at Carlisle.

If you think none of the above deserve the award, then reply in this thread with your vote.

Ronnie Moore simply has to win this for me. To take a team that looked doomed for ages and take them four points clear of the drop by the time the season ended is some achievement. Gareth Ainsworth could also be a contender if he actually wins promotion.

Ainsworth. To get Wycombe that high from where they were is amazing. Their squad isn't even that good.

Ainsworth. It's not even close for me.

The turnaround from last season has been remarkable, without spending an awful lot.

Ronnie Moore did more than polish a turd, put a smile on the faces for a town that needed it and gave hope to the rest of us for when we need to choose between the HG or HFGP approach to a disastrous start to next season or the one after or the one after...

We will remember him.

Ronnie Moore for me. He won't win the official award of course, as he says himself, those generally go to the manager who won the title. But what he achieved at Hartlepool was nothing short of remarkable.

Ainsworth for me too, unbelievable turn around at Wycombe especially when a lot of people had them down to be relegated!

JFH really shouldn't win it. The groundwork was done when he arrived. He's done a great job to keep it going but I would have him 3rd by a long way.

On results/outcome you're right. I'm just not sure how much the success is due to proximity to Brentford/London combined with luck in the loan market. He's managed/coached a small squad of decent players very well but, despite last season, I don't think he's yet had to deal with enough of the range of issues that a L2 manager has to suffer to be judged MotS (a bit like JFH).

Justin Edinburgh did a pretty impressive job at Newport but, considering their restrictions at the start of the season and the turnaround achieved after playing us, I'd put Paul Tisdale second.

I voted Moore. Ainsworth has done great things, and I don't think he could have done better beyond losing the tedious gamesmanship garbage.

But Moore has pulled off his quest against all odds, we've achieved nothing yet.

Ainsworth for me JFH has proven to be a steady hand but thats it I don't see how you can honestly put him forward as manager of the year.

I've gone with Ainsworth but it was a close one between him and Moore.

Feel like a right tit voting for Westley but to be fair they've done well considering they don't have any big name players and got a playoff spot under the radar.

Every season without fail one manager leads one team to the top spot.....what Ronnie did has not been done before , and may never be done again.....before Brighton gets mentioned , Ronnie had to finish 3rd bottom not 2nd . A truly remarkable achievement

Moore or Ainsworth. If Wycombe go up then Ainsworth, otherwise I think it should be shared. Moore for a quite amazing escape, Ainsworth for achieving so much with so little.

I'm amazed Hassellbaink has even got five votes, I'd have thought it was a relatively straight shoot out between Ainsworth and Moore given what they've achieved and the circumstances in which they've achieved it. Had Ainsworth taken Wycombe up automatically, he'd probably have had my vote (I may still change if he manages to do it via the POs).

It has to be Ronnie Moore. He kept up a Hartlepool side that looked dead and buried.

Curzon Ashton....and Carlisle
It is between Ainsworth and Moore, but I've said Ainsworth for the reason that Ronnie Moore had nothing to lose and had little pressure in the end.

Pools got to a point where they were so down the pressure lifts, they can just as such go for it and hope c a couple of sides cock-up which is what happened (although I know not as easy as that but hope people understand what I mean)

ainsworth in a summer turned a crap side into a decent one, only missing out due to the small resources available........if Moore does same with Hartlepool next season then I'd give him it.

It has to be Ainsworth. Wycombe were one of the worst sides I saw last season. This season Ainsworth has done the business, getting them to punch above their weight and all this with the added dimension of rampant cheating and gamesmanship. As others have said, a little more squad quality and depth and they would not have blown it for automatic promotion.
