I think Bolton and Cheltenham will be ok......Its Cambridge and whoever comes up who will struggle
I liked Bonner and Cambridge last season, but i think they will lose there best 3 players in Hoolihan, Knoyle and Mullin
We’d struggle if we lost those 3 and didn’t sign anyone but you do know Cambridge can sign players don’t you?

Already hints from other players Hoolahan is going to have one last year. Despite those 3 getting all the headlines we have another striker who scored 15 goals and is one of the best strikers I’ve seen hold it up. Him and Digby are just as vital.

I don’t think Mullin or Knoyle will stay but our recruitment last summer was bang on and I have every faith in our recruitment team again this summer. Also with Bonner in charge I have no doubt we’ll be competitive.

Apparently Bolton took a 4M loan out half way through last season. They won’t be the only ones. Finances at football clubs looking very grim short term and next season is anything but certain with the current circumstances.

I thought Ken Anderson (previous wanker that had the club) had taken out a 4m loan secured against the land around the stadium that was still owed as a secured debt when new owners came in? Unsure if it’s been settled mind? Is this the same one? I know we still have some obligations to creditors and the administrators from his reign

Quite insensitive that... nowadays ‘they’ could also apparently be non-binary... :woot::fl:
Do you mean we could have a few unsullied on here?

Men without cocks! whats there to fight for if you hav'nt got a cock,

family?

Not without a cock you don't.

It’s all bollocks(or not in some cases I suppose). You are genetically a man or a woman (or in rare cases both)... you can’t be neither!?!? You can change from one to another if you choose. But to be able to choose to be neither is the world going mad. There’s so much political correctness nowadays. You can lose you job for saying the wrong thing at the wrong time. No real freedom of speech.

I like many have no problems with people marrying, sleeping with or being in a relationship with whoever you want (as long as they consent), dress up as whoever you want, change your sex if you want but I draw the line at gender neutral/no gender. There was a story the other day that a train announcement said morning ladies and gentleman... someone claiming to be non-binary complained as it wasn’t inclusive and the train company apologised. The world has gone mad!

Clap ‘em in irons! Bit of electro therapy and a daily thrashing with a damp Radio Times should do the trick.

Failing that, they can carry on playing for Oxford!

I hope you are right but just look at Sunderland today... they’ve been stuck in league 1 for 4 seasons now I think? Sheff Wednesday are down here, Charlton, Pompey amongst others. Only 3 places to play for. Chances are, Derby will be down the season after ... after a points deduction. I’d love to think we will be in the championship in a couple of seasons but I wouldn’t be putting my house on it that’s for sure.
I'm quite optimistic about the recruitment. Couple of articles in the BN with Chris Markham. We have a plan, budget and are making progress.

I think Wednesday may not have fallen as far as they will. They don't sound like they are in great shape and had loads leave. When you do that you end up overpaying like we have previously, signing big names without a real plan. The teams with a good structure and plan are potentially tougher as they all have a few years building behind them.

Having seen the Rovers line-up and bench, expecting a similar type of game to the first leg. All depends on whether Rovers can be more clinical and avoid conceding from set pieces. We don't seem to have any game-changers on the bench, Woolery at a push. Nothing to change my initial thought that the Shrimps are favourites.

Sounds like Morecambe have got a great atmosphere going here, even before the goal. A lot for Tranmere to do to get themselves back into this now.

It’s the opposite of last week. Tranmere were dominant. Manny Monthe has looked awful here. I thought he looked really good last week

I don’t think we’ve got the game-changers to alter things here. Bar the odd moment Morecambe very comfortable first half

Keith Hill likes this.
Congratulations to Morecambe, even if they are not pretty to watch, and double congratulations to Sutton United on being promoted and avoiding the Horwich Dickhead.

Well done to the Shrimps for making the play-off final, better side over the 2 legs.

Also to Sutton, newcomers to the FL.

As for Rovers, see what happens next...

Challinor is favourite for the managers job.
