Have no fear we know what to expect! No one thinks for a moment we're bouncing straight back, number one priority is to offload our expensive mis fits and avoid any further slides ;

I didn't enjoy our 1 year there, despite it being successful.

You only had 1 season! Imagine 8!
The thought of it makes me shiver. Being there 1 season was like being stabbed, so I'd guess 8 seasons was like being stabbed, but then getting the knife twisted and twisted in your gut.

Should Tranmere and Hartlepool pick up 3 points tonight which is very possible, I'll be interested to see how confident the other Carlisle fans will be about us staying up, with the gap down to 3 and 2 with our horrible run of fixtures ahead.

I'd still be quite confident.

In tonight's games, I think Mansfield will beat Tranmere, Cambridge will draw with Cheltenham, and Hartlepool to pick up 3pts against Accrington.

I think Tranmere will beat Mansfield
Hartlepool will beat Accrington
And Juventus will beat Monaco

That's my treble I've got on tonight.

I reckon Tranmere could be bottom tonight, fancy Cheltenham to nick a win at home to Cambridge, I mean lets face it they're not going to get a better chance for three points from now until the end of the season. And I'd go for Mansfield beating Rovers as well.

Just to annoy you, I'll stick my neck out and say there is zero percent probability of us being relegated... In fact I think we're still in with a shout of making the playoffs, if we win our remaining games and enough teams above us get points deductions.

I'm with HG. Pools will win, Rovers will get at least a point, and Cheltenham will beat us. Not sure about Juve though :dk:

It doesn't annoy me, it delights me that I'm in a minority. It plants that seed of doubt in my head that I may just be wrong.

Shoddy Collins, I hope you are right (about us not going down), i really do. The sooner this season is over the better, I'm losing sleep over the prospect of seeing my club die.

but I do come from a view that its 'just another league' and conference doesn't worry me like most,
But it's not though. It's not like being relegated from league 1 to 2. This is different, it's financially crippling unless you get a bloody good start and get 9,000 crowds like last time.

Everything changes, players want to play in the football league. Attracting players becomes even harder, especially with less income to pay wages.

There's not a single positive about going down to that level, not one

I don't think hartlepool or tranmere fans have any idea what the conference is like - hopefully one of them will be going down.

It's hell, I think that has got the Mansfield fans so worried.

If Hartlepool go down I reckon they could be in for a long stay.

Just need Mansfield to do their job now.

Scores so far are decent enough though.
