It's not quite as bonkers as the one Vale made complaining about the refs earlier in the week but Alan Hardy has put out a statement announcing he isn't going to the game tomorrow. An extremely important development I'm sure you all agree. https://www.nottscountyfc.co.uk/news/2019/march/alan-absent-from-game-010319/

Smurf has fucked off abroad for ten days missing tomorrow and the planned big protests next weekend... maybe he is meeting the Hong Kong consortium or maybe he’s at his villa in Portugal.

Guessing no protests for our game next week now then?

Lose tomorrow it will really ramp up... assuming it goes with form next week it will likely really ramp up.

I’d be expecting a good 1500 from us, we’re used to (thankfully no longer) bad owners, so anything we can do....

Thats a very kind offer Stags... if any fans wanted to inquire about ways to support I would say the Black and Gold Campaign who are organizing things would be the guys to speak to, their contact details are here: https://www.valeforsale.co.uk/contact.php and may have suggestions.

Would be nice to have support from other clubs as we did years ago with Luton fans marching with us, and more recently fans of many clubs came to watch our game organised by Wolves fans to help us when in administration... was a weird and good atmosphere with all the mixed shirts!

It amazes me how many shithouse chairman their are in the league. Have to be grateful for the chairman we have, even though some of our fans posted letters to him telling him to fuck off when we got relegated last year.

Presumably only fans who came along when you made it to the Championship?

I would love to have someone like Ben as our Chairman. I see him a fair bit round town and he's always approachable. Light years ahead of ours.

It would seem so, these games we need to win. Strange how both Kewell and Ardley have managed a good 3 match streak and nothing else.

As far as I can see we need 6 wins from 11 now

The off-field stuff has just knocked the hope out of people I think. When I spoke to my brother after Tranmere last week he was still optimistic we'd get out of it. Today he was resigned even before kickoff. There was just a completely different feeling around Meadow Lane today. Wish Hardy had shown up to enjoy it too!

We got so close to breaking the no win record, nothing will stop us in our efforts to be the first ever club relegated straight back down.

Teams coming up use their momentum from a successful season, our glorious leadership managed to ruin that by forcing Askey out.

So, working from top to bottom, Cheltenham remain very much the same, good at home, poor on the road, even if a defeat to Mansfield is no disgrace. Anything against Bury feels like a bonus before the biggie against Notts County, can't afford to lose that one.

Crawley keep slipping and it's not hard to see why, only 7 goals scored since the turn of the year. Still some breathing room, although that could change very quickly. Good win for Cambridge at Grimsby, a solid return from their next 2 home games and they should be just about there.

Yeovil get another huge home win over another struggler, a sign of a team who won't go down is beating your relegation rivals at home. Lincoln is a write off, but the Vale away and Macclesfield are home are huge. Must not lose games for the Glovers.

Morecambe lost that 6 pointer which isn't ideal. Need to find a way to win at home now, tricky ask given their next 2 opponents. The Vale can't buy a goal for toffee at the moment, a point at Notts County isn't terrible, but their next few games don't look too good, Yeovil aside. Still, a scrappy 1-0 out of nowhere changes things dramatically for them.

Macc still can't figure out how to win, MK Dons and Exeter next up? Ouch. Starting to look a bit bleak for them unless they start picking up some wins and soon. Notts County have lost all momentum, tough 2 away games next up before the 6 pointer against Morecambe.

Funny how things change, as now I'd say the current bottom 2 look most likely to drop. Can they find the wins they need? Games running out.

In fairness we thought after notts big day and win against us you’d push on, yet 1 from 9 clearly isn’t what anyone expected, fortunately we’ve been able to gain 6 from 6 and move on.

We're still way better than we were at the start of the season, nowadays we score in most games and aren't a complete car crash defensively. However for whatever reason we are simply unable to win games just at the moment. You shouldn't read too much into the Bury game - it's games against the likes of Crawley and Cheltenham where we are inexplicably throwing wins away which makes relegation very hard to avoid.

I've seen us get relegated plenty and pull off escapes quite a few times too. This feels a dead cert relegation. Momentum stalled, can't score, off the field utter basket case.
Everything you need for a calamity of a season is in there.
Geared up for a promotion push, Ill equipped for a struggle.
Sack two managers in short order to keep the (delusional) promotion dream alive.
Carry a massive squad, rotate everyone when it goes wrong, forget about continuity.
Massive loss of form from previously decent players.
Best team on paper rarely gets to play due to key injuries.
Chairman who entirely loses the plot, his business, dignity and any hope of funding the mess he's had a huge part in making.
Chairman / owner bails.
Local radio reveal a £3 million playing budget !!!
Winding up order, probable administration.

I have given up. One place left for you to fight over. Tbf despite dominating for large chunks today they looked devoid of ideas. Cod be two big sides that drop this season.

Dominated? Please tell me you're joking?

We should've won by 2 or 3, easily. Two outstanding stops from your goalkeeper and one ruled out for a debatable offside. Not to mention Pope missing an absolute sitter from all of 5 yards. Brown made one save with his feet all afternoon and you blazed about 5 efforts miles wide or over.

On that showing, you're finishing bottom.
